Fiji will head to the final later this evening where they will face first-time finalists Spain who have had an absolute cracker of a weekend so far! Argentina will have to settle for a fight for the bronze against New Zealand.
And the momentum continued in the second half. Fiji needed only an inch of space with ball in hand, making breaks from all the way inside their own 22 on more than one occasion to run in tries. They did allow Argentina a sniff right at the end, but by that point they had a 36-point lead already so those two late tries would make no difference to the result.
Argentina looked strong in the opening minutes, putting Fiji under a good amount of pressure down in their half of the pitch with some strong carries and phases working their way up into the 22, but a messy offload back on the inside with the touchline looming landed in the wrong hands and there was no looking back from there. The Flying Fijians added another two before the break, only letting one slip for Argentina in the first half.

Another for Argentina! They claim the restart, and it's Gonzalez who bursts away this time to run it in just to the left of the posts.
