The Black Ferns 7s were at their ruthless best as they ran in seven unanswered tries to thrash France 43-0 in the first semi final. Leading 19-0 at halftime, New Zealand continued to dominate possession and territory and they extended their lead through Jorja Miller in the opening stages. Kelsey Teneti completed a cracking team try before further tries to Katelyn Vaha'akolo and Sarah Hirini capped a brilliant victory.

Dezou combines with Ciofani who surges over her 10m line but is pinged for holding on. Nuku taps and kicks it into touch to seal a dominant win by New Zealand!

The Black Ferns 7s reclaim possession from the restart and they work it left to Felix-Hotham who is ankle tapped on halfway. Brazier then pops in a grubber down the right edge that is defused initially by France. Brazier counter-rucks and wins possession before an error by Vaha'akolo stunts their progress.

New Zealand opt against taking the conversion.

France come up with an error just outside their 22m. From the scrum, New Zealand shift it wide to the left where Vaha'akolo cruises over to score in the corner.

Nuku converts from just to the right of the posts.

The Black Ferns 7s make a break down the left edge through Vaha'akolo. They recycle quickly as Miller busts a couple of tackles before she is held 5m out. She unloads to Hirini who dives over to score from close range.
