That's all we have for this one. Stay with Tribe for the clash between England and Japan which gets underway shortly at Twickenham. This is Anthony Morgan signing off.
The Wallabies toiled hard for the full 80 minutes with Len Ikitau a standout in the midfield. Harry Wilson and Carlo Tizzano showed plenty of endeavour while Will Skelton claimed a couple of big turnovers in the first half. Ultimately though the Grand Slam dream ends for the Wallabies, but they still have a match to go next weekend where they will be looking to upstage Ireland in Dublin.
Jamie Ritchie was a standout for Scotland with several strong tackles while Rory Darge and Matt Fagerson provided good support on both sides of the ball. Collectively Scotland outplayed the Wallabies off the back of their committed defence, while on attack they took their chances with ruthless efficiency. Sione Tuipulotu got the ball rolling with the opening try and was strong throughout while Duhan van der Merwe, Darcy Graham and Blair Kinghorn all showed how threatening they can be if they are given an ounce of space.
Scotland powered home with three tries to one in the second half as they claimed a hard-fought 27-13 win over the Wallabies at Murrayfield. Leading 7-3 at halftime, Scotland extended their lead to seven points through a Finn Russell penalty goal in the 44th minute. Australia hit straight back through a Noah Lolesio penalty soon after the restart before Duhan van der Merwe put Scotland hot onto attack with a break in the 51st minute. After Australia slid well on the right, Scotland returned to the left where Blair Kinghorn threw the money pass for Van der Merwe to score in the corner. Sione Tuipulotu raced back to defuse a Tate McDermott cross kick after Australia went hot onto attack through Max Jorgensen. That proved a vital turning point as Scotland crossed for back to back tries to Josh Bayliss and Finn Russell to take control of the contest. The Wallabies pegged a late consolation try to debutant Harry Potter, who miraculously got it down inside the dead-ball line after he showed good pace to regain a McDermott grubber. It would prove too little, too late for Australia however as Scotland held on for a deserved 14-point win.

BRILLIANT DEFENCE! Australia hammer away with several pick and goes from close range but are turned away by desperate Scotland defence on no less than five occasions. Frost then ends up over the line but is held up. With time up on the clock that will be all she wrote from Edinburgh as Scotland get home by 14 points in their final match of 2024!

Richardson's throw goes to no one as Australia come away with possession. Jorgensen slips up to his 22m before Wright rolls in an errant grubber upfield. The Wallabies are awarded a penalty for offside however and Donaldson finds touch 23m out.

Salakaia-Loto claims the restart outside his 22m as the Wallabies swing it wide left to Potter who is contained 15m from halfway. Three phases later, Donaldson attempts to slice into a hole on the right but is dragged into touch by Tuipulotu. Scotland with the lineout 38m out.
