France never stopped trying but were easily outclassed by a much stronger opponent. Perle Ramazeilles provided an early line break and was solid under the high ball while at the back Manon Samarra notched 98m from 15 runs. Forwards Salome Segala and Leila Besahli carried solidly for a combined 207m from 26 runs.
Amy Hardcastle was at her potent best for England with a try, two try assists and nine tackle busts in a quality showing at right centre that saw her churn out 164m from 11 runs. Her centre partner Caitlin Beevers was even more involved with a game-high 194m from 20 runs while up front Emily Rudge (165m) and Shona Hoyle (144m) trundled the ball forward with gusto all afternoon. Debutants Georgie Hetherington and Isabel Rowe provided plenty of highlights with Hetherington providing an assured display at fullback while Rowe dished off a nice try assist and landed 5/8 from the tee in a solid start to her International career.
England ran in four tries in each half as they beat France 0-42 in Toulouse. Leading 0-20 at halftime, the Lionesses struck again in the 49th minute when Paige Travis ran onto a sharp cutout pass by Zoe Harris and burst through two tackles to score. England cracked 30 points when Anna Davies was the beneficiary of a slick right-side shift to score her second before her wing partner Eboni Partington got in on the action with a try on the left in the 63rd minute. Isabel Rowe put Emily Rudge over with a lovely short ball for the final try with nine minutes remaining.

Hoyle takes it over her 40m before Harris kicks to Samarra who brings it back 28m out from her line. Akpa and Ramazeilles take runs up to the France 40m as the siren goes for fulltime.

France keep the ball alive as they swing it through the hands to the right where Diraison combines with Vilanove. Ramazeilles is tackled 35m out before Diraison bombs to Partington who moves forward and takes it near the sideline on her 25m.

Travis and Hardcastle take runs over halfway before bursts into space out of dummy half. She is contained 22m out before Rudge bounces out of one tackle but loses it forward 14m out.
