That's all we have for this one. Stay with Tribe for more NRL Pre-Season action tomorrow night as the Knights take on the Eels from McDonald Jones Stadium in Newcastle before the Cowboys and Dolphins meet in Cairns. This is Anthony Morgan signing off.
The Raiders looked good early as Keao Weekes and Ethan Strange caused the Sharks defence plenty of headaches. Once they were taken off the field the Green Machine really struggled as they were very one dimensional on attack. A stack of errors also prevented them from applying any pressure on the Sharks in the second half. Albert Hopoate was strong with his carries on the left with with 129m from 14 runs while at the back Chevy Stewart (107m) toiled hard all night.
With a trip to Vegas hot on the horizon for both sides, the Sharks will be delighted with their performance as all of their big guns made their mark. Addin Fonua-Blake (103m) was powerful up front while Tuku Hau Tapuha (99m) carried the momentum on with a solid stint off the bench. Nicho Hynes scored a try and provided a couple of cracking assists in a slick display before he was given an early mark along with Blayke Brailey in the 50th minute.
After a tight first half, Cronulla flick the switch early in the second and they piled on five unanswered tries to blow out Canberra 10-40 at GIO Stadium. Leading 10-12 at halftime, the Sharks extended their lead in the 46th minute when Addin Fonua-Blake bullocked his way through the front line before he shimmied around Chevy Stewart to score a cracking try. A pair of errors from bombs proved costly for the Raiders as Braydon Trindall and Jesse Ramien piled on further tries in the following two sets to power the visitors out to a 20-point lead. As the errors continued to pile up for the Green Machine, Cronulla stayed ruthless to the end with further tries to Tuku Hau Tapuha and Chris Vea'ila in the final 12 minutes.
