As mentioned it might only be pre-season but boy this Titans side has some real work to do! They were hopeless today as they defence went backwards, while their attack was ordinary as they couldn't throw anything at this Broncos side. The worrying sign for them is that they named almost their strongest starting pack, but they struggled in the middle to contain what the Broncos threw at them giving away easy metres. Their discipline in the first half really let them down as they gave the Broncos piggy back and piggy back. On his 64th birthday coach Des Hasler has some real thinking to do as his side was well off the pace.

All over here with the Broncos running wild and putting on a score against what was almost a full strength Titans side. The Broncos forwards laid the perfect platform as they made metres for fun, with the likes of Taupau, Te Kura, Piakura and Hetherington real standouts - Taupau especially winding back the clock. Jock Madden controlled the game perfectly, with his kicking game a real standout. The Broncos outside backs were dangerous everytime they touched the ball with Deine Mariner the real standout as he split this Titans defence with ease at times. The pleasing part for the Broncos will be their defence as they didn't give the Titans an inch - it might only be pre-season but this Broncos side showed something today.
