Roger Tuivasa-Sheck was sensational at the back in a beaten Samoan side as he cleaned up numerous threatening kicks from the likes of Harry Smith and George Williams. Tuivasa-Sheck ran for a team-high 193m from 26 runs as he and Jarome Luai engineered fleeting moments of brilliance on attack. RTS' try-saving tackle on a rampaging Junior Nsemba close to the line was one of the highlights of the contest.
The Samoan defence will be having nightmares of Herbie Farnworth after the England centre crossed for two tries and made four line breaks as well as a whooping 13 tackle breaks in a standout display. Junior Nsemba stiffened up a quality left edge with 122m and two line breaks while off the bench Luke Thompson was strong in his return from suspension with 153m and 19 tackles in a 58-minute shift.
England wrapped up their two-match series with Toa Samoa with a solid 34-16 victory in Leeds to seal a 2-0 whitewash. Both tests followed a similar pattern with Samoa starved of the ball in the first half before they played with plenty of freedom after the break in an attempt to close the gap. Trailing 22-6 it was always going to be a tall order for the Samoans but they did strike back first through Jake Tago in the 44th minute. The class of Herbie Farnworth restored England's lead in the 54th before the Dolphins' centre turned provider for Jack Welsby to score with 13 minutes remaining. Samoa never threw in the towel and they had the final say when Jeremiah Nanai pounced on a Jarome Luai grubber to score in the 73rd minute.

Nanai surges inside 30m on the right before Sasagi and May take further runs up to the 20m. Tuivasa-Sheck sends Nanai 5m out on the fifth before Luai pushes a sharp pass that is knocked on by Ashton on the ground. There won't be time for the scrum as the siren goes for fulltime. England seal a 2-0 series whitewash with a comfortable 18-point win in Leeds!

England work it up to their 40m where they are awarded a set restart for a ruck infringement. An error by Newman from a Williams' pass two plays later gifts Samoa a scrum feed on their 40m.
77'
Samoa keep the ball alive as they take it over halfway. Molo sprints into space and is cut down 15m out before Blore is tackled 2m short of the line. He pops an errant offload that is dived on by Knowles before Luai is penalised for sliding in with the knees.
76'
Bateman and Knowles take runs inside 20m before Smtih and Welsby combine with Farnworth, who threatens the goal line once again. This time Samoa's defence holds firm and Farnworth's offload hits the deck and is dived on by Mariner.
75'
Samoa swing it wide to the left where Pauga is cut down by Newman 8m from halfway. Talagi takes a run on the fourth before a pair of offloads helps to create space on a shift to the left. Luai's pass is spilt by Blore as England come away with the ball on their 40m.
