That wraps up Tribe's coverage of this one, with the Kangaroo's marching to victory! Stick with us as we have the Kiwis vs Papau New Guinea coming up. For now this is Stanton Bell signing off, as always thank you for following along - until next time be safe out there!
Tonga left everything out on the paddock, giving it everything right until the end. However it was their clunky attack that cost them as they weren't able to make the most of their opportunities and cross the line. Isaiya Katoa tried his best, but needed Lolohea and Hopoate to get more involved and take the pressure off him. Their forwards started strongly laying the perfect platform with Founa-Blake, Taumalolo and Kaufusi the real standouts. Their edge defence let them down as they gave away plenty of metres and linebreaks to let the Aussies march down the middle of the paddock! However Tonga can hold their heads high, it was a spirited campaign from them and they have showed that they can mix it with the top dogs of rugby league.
All over here with Australia getting the job done and winning the Pacific Championship in what turned out to be a tough ding-dong battle. The Aussies marched out to a lead in the first half and extended it straight after the break, but took their foot off the gas as Tonga came back into the game. Mitch Moses and Tom Dearden were the real difference as they controlled this game with Dearden on attack the real difference as he burnt the defence a handful of times. Their forwards rolled up their sleeves big time in the second half starting to win the arm wrestle with Collins, Yeo and Barnett the standouts. They will be disappointed with their finish, but in the end, they did just enough to get the job done.

We just have time for the scrum as Lomax works it forward on the right, followed by Edwards taking a carry as the siren sounds! Australia are the champs!

Tonga have one last chance as they tap from the 20 with Tupou taking a carry. To the right hand side it goes with Eli Katoa taking a strong carry but he is held up and driven towards the touchline, and loses the ball! Tonga will challenge this! UNSUCCESSFUL! Katoa lost it cleanly in the tackle.

XAVIER "AIR" COATES HAS DONE IT AGAIN! The Aussies crack them on the left with space opening up as Coates gets a cut out ball and flies to corner. Sione Katoa gives him a shove and Coates has to launch himself to the corner, somehow not going out.... HOLD ON! BUNKER SAYS NO TRY! Coates lost it in the put down!

To the right work the Aussies for Lomax to get inside the 30, followed by Carrigan in the middle. Burton takes a carry at them turning it inside the Smith for another carry. To the right for Tom Trbojevic to take a run inside the 10, with a shift back to the left....

Sione Katoa starts the set, followed by Fonua-Blake in the middle of the paddock but the defence are all over him and he loses the ball as he tries to play it! The crowd goes dead silent!

Coates works it back to the 30, with Lomax next to the 40. Trbojevic works it up the middle of the paddock with a tough carry, followed by Grant who gets to halfway. Lindsay Smith fresh on the paddock takes his first carry as a Kangaroo. On the last Moses hangs it up but it is allowed to bounce and goes out! Moses looked to be taken out - but no call made.
