Two wins from two for Roberto Martinez's Portugal, who were forced to do it the hard way. On the balance of play, few can argue that they didn't deserve the points, having peppered the Scotland goal for large swathes of the second half and been denied by the woodwork (twice) and the heroics of Angus Gunn on more than one occasion. Still, the Scotland goalkeeper will have been disappointed to let Bruno Fernandes' low shot squirm through his grasp for the hosts' equaliser on 54 minutes. There was little he could do in the 88th minute to stop Cristiano Ronaldo from turning home Nuno Mendes' delicious cross either, as the veteran forward netted his 901st career goal. It's another cruel, yet familiar defeat for Steve Clarke's Scotland, who have now won just one of their last 14 games. Having led through Scott McTominay's earlier headed, they've now fallen to successive Nations League defeats in the most heartbreaking of ways. Where do they go from here, you wonder?
