France have bounced back with a convincing win over Belgium. Make sure you join us again on Tribe tomorrow for England's clash with Finland. It's been a pleasure bringing you all the action from the Groupama Stadium in Lyon this evening. For now, Harrison Ryburn signing out.
A rather toothless display from Belgium in the end, much like their performance in their round of sixteen clash with France at the Euros. They started strong and dictated all of the possession and territory inside the first twenty-five. It came with little reward though, and once Les Blues kicked into gear, they had no response, falling victim to a number of French counter-attacks. Tedesco's changes failed to turn the tide of the game either, despite looking slightly more potent with De Keteleare up front. Belgium now drop to third after two games, with a tough October window next.
Much better from France tonight, and the drastic changes that Deschamps made after their opening defeat to Italy worked a treat. They were initially slow to start, but once they got a feel for the ball they created opportunities on the break and displayed far too much pace for the Belgian defence to cope with going forward. Les Bleues were even more dominant in the second half, and perhaps could have scored a third if not for a couple of strong saves from Casteels. Their defence was also much improved from the effort against the Azzurri, with Upamecano particuarly impressive in recording a clean sheet. With Italy's win elsewhere, they push up to second in Group A2, and will be confident of securing another win when they face Israel next in October.
Fulltime in Lyon and France pick up their first win of the new Nations League campaign with a comfortable two-goal victory over Belgium. It was all about the Red Devils in the first half hour, but the hosts found their feet, and flipped the contest on it's head with the opening goal from Randal Kolo Muani. They continued to dictate in the second half, scoring a second through Ousmane Dembele and coasting to victory in the final half hour. It's just their second win in eight games in the Nations League, and a perfect bounceback after defeat to Italy in Paris last week.

Into four minutes of injury time at the end of this one, and Duranville makes a solo run down the left wing, before running straight into Kounde. France clear and send it back over halfway for Olise, who's touch is heavy and Belgium intercept. Mangala and Faes pick up a couple of touches.

Maignan launches the goal kick long up to halfway, and the Lyon crowd have begun to sing the national anthem in celebration as the clock ticks down. Onana wins back possession for Belgium, before finding De Ketelaere at the top of the box. The latter runs straight into Saliba though, and France clear.
