That's all from me tonight - Spain march on, 17 games undefeated now and looking very, very tough to break down. It has been a pleasure to bring this game to you, until next time, bye for now!
Serbia are still in the quarter-final hunt, as Denmark and Switzerland could only draw in St Gallen tonight. They'll have to get something in their next match against the Swiss in a month, though. Spain are cruising in this group and will go to Denmark full of confidence in November.
Serbia defended as a unit and gave Spain few enough chances to stay in it. The back three in particular held them together - Erakovic, Milenkovic and Pavlovic (until he got his marching orders). Birmancevic ran hard to provide an outlet, but you HAVE to wonder "What If?" had Mitrovic evened up the scores with 30 minutes to go.
Yet again, even with a raft of injuries and new players coming in, Spain play their possession-based football and keep an immaculate shape. You wonder how many sides they could put together that would all rank in the top 20 international teams. Their standouts were Porro (again) and Cucurella on the wings and Oyarzabal in the middle- always dangerous. But no performances less than "Good" from the hosts tonight - most even in the "Excellent" category.
And the final whistle goes! Comfortable in the end for Spain, but so nearly not so! After Laporte's header, Morata's penalty miss kept Serbia in it. But Mitrovic fluffed his lines with the goal open and missed the chance to set up a thrilling ending. And a minute after that, Morata made up for his miss with a lovely finish. Pavlovic's tackle earned him a red and Baena the third and final goal of the night for some gloss on a solid Spanish performance.

SHOT!! One more chance for Aleix Garcia to cut onto his right foot and shoot from 5 yards out on the left. It takes a deflection and Rajkovic tips over.
90+2'
Simic finds a little pocket of space on the right and is so surprised that he doesn't know whether to cross or shoot. He decides to do half of both and it's very ineffective.
A few minutes of injury time only, but still maybe enough for Spain to get a fourth. Or Serbia to open their account, I guess.
