But that's all for me, as the Spanish fans go home happy and Zubimendi celebrates his first ever international goal to seal the points for Spain. I've been Carl Allport with the action for you here on Tribe - see you on Tuesday night for the next Spain international match!
So Spain go to the top of Group 4 and Denmark hold second after Serbia beat Switzerland. Spain will travel down the road to the sensational city of Cordoba to take on Serbia on Tuesday night. At the same time, Denmark will be hosted by Switzerland.
Don't feel sorry for Denmark, though - they were outclassed in that second 45. Totally. Sure, they might have created a chance on the break from an Eriksen or Bah pass, but they were very passive and payed the price. Someone needed to step up and do something to open up that Spanish back four, and there wasn't a player in white capable of that tonight. No real standouts, perhaps Eriksen but only because he was slightly above average. Schmeichel with a couple of good saves kept them in it until the 79th minute.
Spain bossed that second half ridiculously, without creating more than a couple of real chances. Even the goal was a little fortuitous. But when they press high as a team, and play it to feet as a team, they're so hard to beat and are always only one pass away from unlocking a defence. The whole team played their part, the only standouts being the players who didn't hit the heights expected - Grimaldo and Morata, I'm looking at you.
And that is indeed the end of a match which was finally won by Zubimendi's strike 11 minutes from time.

Not this time. It's headed clear and the ref looks at his watch..........

Laporte's okay. Schmeichel will step up to half way and pump a free kick into the Spain box. Can Denmark pull one out of the bag??

Laporte is clattered but I reckon he's fine. The Spanish players not doing themselves any favours by waving imaginary yellow cards.
