But we're done here. Denmark goes down by the odd goal but the fans in Copenhagen will still celebrate tonight, and why not - they live in one of the nicest cities on the planet. Yes, I'm a fan! So enjoy your evening wherever you are, I've been Carl Allport with all the action for you live here on Tribe, see you next time!
Denmark will now go to Serbia needing at least a draw to qualify from this group. That game on Monday night will be an absolute cracker! Spain will go to Tenerife for a holiday and an easy game against Switzerland.
Spain did what they had to tonight, already qualified but claiming top spot in this group and extending their unbeaten run to 20 games. Every player that comes into this team knows exactly what to do, how to get into position to receive a pass, how to make that pass and when to put the foot down. Olmo runs the show in the middle, Oyarzabal can either assist or score, their fullbacks are always threatening and a number of striker can come in and score goals. For what it's worth, I'd say their weakness is their captain, Morata. He's a step behind, mentally unaware and just doesn't have the class of a Pedri or even Perez (that goal was something Morata could only do 10 years ago). Added to that is his embarrassing antics which seemed to spread to his teammates after he came on. Get rid of him, Spain!
It's not easy determining the performance of any team up against Spain, as the European champions are so good at controlling the game both with and without the ball. But it does seem like Denmark did drop that intensity for that first Spanish goal. Okay, the second was just very good football, I'll give them that. And in attack as well, Isaksen showed his team what could be done with a little intent after he came on, his goal so well-deserved. Bah showed glimpses of something happening on the right, as did Kristiansen on the left, but the infection of aimless Danish crosses eventually claimed them as well. Eriksen is so composed, he needs to steer this ship better if they are to threaten class defenders. Especially with the lack of pace or aggression from Hojlund.
But it's all too late for Denmark as the final whistle goes! Spain hold on after Isaksen pounced on a Ruiz mistake to give Denmark hope. They were two goals down after Oyarzabal and Perez struck, and they just couldn't get that equaliser in the final frantic moments.

HOJBJERG TO TIE IT UP... straight at Raya! It's from the corner to the captain on the left, he shoots from 25 yards out but not good enough!

SO CLOSE TO THE EQUALISER!! Skov-Olsen out to Bah, Back to him on the right at the top of the box. A nice shot is deflected just wide!! Corner!
