AC Milan have stunned Real Madrid to end the hosts 15-game unbeaten run at the Santiago Bernabeu. Make sure you join us again on Tribe tomorrow for more live coverage of the UEFA Champions League. It's been a pleasure bringing you all the action from Madrid this evening. For now, Harrison Ryburn signing out.
Real Madrid return to la Liga action for the first time in two weeks this weekend, as they welcome Osasuna to the Bernabeu, in desperate need of a win. Meanwhile, AC Milan return to Serie A with a trip to Cagliari.
A crucial win for AC Milan, and with back-to-back victories, they've now put themselves back into contention after consecutive defeats to start their Champions League campaign. Paulo Foncesca's side were arguably a little too passive, despite scoring the first goal, and dropped deep inside their own half after taking the lead. They learned from their mistakes though, and after conceding, played more positvely, ensuring their were numbers around the ball to strike on the counter. Fonseca still kept five at the back, which worked well as they held out through the final stages, but they weren't so deep, and didn't give up as much space for Mbappe and Vinicius to work their magic. On another day they probably could have scored four or five with the chances they created on the break, but nevertheless this will go down as a memorable night at the Santiago Bernabeu.
Another humiliating night for Real Madrid in the contrast, following on from their El Classico defeat ten days ago. They controlled more of the ball, and occupied positions higher up the pitch more frequently, but simply left themselves too open. Time and time again Ancelotti's side were too slow to react in transition, and caught committing numbers too far forward, particuarly in the second half. They could've conceded four goals on another night as a result, and Madrid simply looked like a team of selfish individuals at times, rather than one cohesive unit. Had the Rudiger goal late on counted in their favour, the comeback may have been on, but it wasn't to be, and they've deservedly tasted defeat. It's their second Champions League loss of the season, and they drop out of the top 16 for the time being as a result.
Fulltime at the Santiago Bernabeu and AC Milan have left Real Madrid wobbling, by ending their 15-game unbeaten run at this venue in the Champions League. They took the lead against the run of play inside the first twelve minutes through Malick Thiaw, before Vinicius Junior levelled it up for the hosts ten minutes later. The Rossoneri pushed on though, and Alvaro Morata restored their lead against his former club before the break, before Tijani Reijnders added the nail in the coffin with a third goal in the final twenty. It will go down as AC Milan's best result of this young season, and after losing their first two Champions League matches, they've responded with consecutive victories to push up inside the top 24.

BIG CHANCE! Vinicius comes forward down the left, and reaches the byline before cutting inside towards the box. He pulls it back for Militao unmarked in front of goal, but the Brazilian shanks his effort horribly and sends it high into the stands from point blank range. It's a shocking miss and that sums up Real Madrid's night.

Two changes for Milan deep into injury-time, as Davide Calabria and Strhinja Pavlovic enter the action with the seconds ticking down.
