This marks Bayern's seventh consecutive win in all competitions and their second straight victory in the UCL. They now sit just one point outside the automatic qualification spots, while PSG remain outside the play-off places, having failed to win any of their last four UCL matches. That wraps up today's game, but the UCL action continues tomorrow. Until then, this is Sanil Karan signing off.
Just before the hour mark, Ousmane Dembele had a chance to equalize, but his shot was blocked by Alphonso Davies, and he was shown a second yellow card for a foul on the full-back. Despite being down to 10 men, PSG continued to push for an equalizer, with Lee Kang-in providing an excellent free-kick that couldn't get a touch. Neuer then orchestrated a move that saw Coman shoot over, and Safonov made a brilliant save, tipping Musiala's shot onto the post. In the dying moments, Joao Neves sent PSG’s best chance wide, and Bayern held on to secure the win.
Matvey Safonov was called into action early and made crucial saves including shots from Jamal Musiala and Leroy Sane. PSG grew into the game after weathering early pressure, with Ousmane Dembele and Kingsley Coman failing to find the target. Warren Zaire-Emery squandered a chance, and Dembele forced a strong save from Manuel Neuer, but the visitors' momentum was halted when Kim Min-jae scored from a poorly dealt Kimmich corner. Coman had another near-miss moments later, and Safonov made more key saves to keep PSG within one goal as the teams headed into the break.

PSG maintain possession in the attacking third, patiently probing for an opening as Bayern sit back and defend. Mendes drives forward on the left and earns a corner after a challenge from Laimer. The set-piece offers PSG a chance to create something, but Bayern remain compact in defense. Kang-In's corner is cleared easily.
