That wraps things up for this one on Tribe, thanks for joining us. We've got all the coverage of the later games about to start, including a juicy fixture between Inter Milan and Arsenal. Go and check those out now!
So Aston Villa remain on 9 points after four games, and they will welcome Juventus to Villa Park three weeks from now in the next round of fixtures. Club Brugge move onto 6 points and travel to Celtic in their next Champions League outing. Both sides return to their domestic competitions at the weekend before the November international break. Villa face a daunting visit to Liverpool, while Brugge travel to bottom side Beerschot.
For Aston Villa this result adds to what's fast becoming a very disappointing week. They looked devoid of energy and ideas tonight, creating very few chances in a disjointed performance. The defence didn't look comfortable in the first half particularly, while Boubacar Kamara and Youri Tielemans struggled to link defence with attack for Villa all night. After a second-half collapse at Spurs, this was more concerning evidence of the fatigue within the squad, and it doesn't get easier with a trip to Liverpool in three days time. Despite that, their three wins from three before tonight still leaves them in a fantastic position to qualify in the Champions League. Unai Emery will need to pick them up quickly to find a response.
A second 1-0 win from four games leaves Club Brugge in with a fighting chance of qualification from this new league phase. They showed far more creative endeavour and energy than their opponents tonight, with Christos Tzolis in particular a livewire down the left. Casper Nielsen won the midfield battle alongside Ardon Jashari, and their two centre backs Joel Ordonez and Brandon Mechele didn't put a foot wrong against Ollie Watkins and later Jhon Duran. Brugge were the better team and will be delighted they have all three points to show for it.
A memorable night for Club Brugge, as they beat an English team in a UEFA competition for the first time in almost 30 years. Their second win in this league phase came in bizarre circumstances, as Tyrone Mings inexplicably handled after thinking play hadn't resumed. Hans Vanaken made no mistake from the spot and Villa's 100% record has gone. In truth they created little tonight and were second-best.

Ezri Konsa flails his arm towards Romeo Vermant as a long ball heads towards them on halfway. He makes contact with the Brugge striker and concedes a free kick. The referee rubs salt in the wounds by showing him a late yellow card.

Youri Tielemans finds Kosta Nedeljkovic down the right but a poor flick from Nedeljkovic allows Maxim De Cuyper to fire a clearance towards halfway. Time is almost up for Villa.

Villa are desperate now as they fire long balls towards the Brugge penalty area. Pau Torres bends one in from the left towards Jhon Duran but Brandon Mechele is closest to it and powers a header clear.
