Barcelona have picked up just third third ever victory against Bayern Munich thanks to the guidance of a sparkling Raphinha hat-trick. Make sure you join us again on Tribe tomorrow for more European action from the Europa and Conference League's. It's been a pleasure bringing you all the action from the Estadi Olimpic Lluis Companys this evening. For now, Harrison Ryburn signing out.
Revenge of sorts for Barcelona after that humbling 2-8 defeat to Bayern back in 2020, and it was all about the counter-attack tonight. Bayern tried to take the game to their opponents with more of the possession and the front foot ball, creating chances with the pace of their switch of play, particuarly in the first half. The hosts maintained a high defensive line throughout, and it proved dividends, bridging the gap between defense and attack to allow for a number of brilliant counter-attacks. Both Yamal and Fermin Lopez stood out with their service into the path of Raphinha, and the winger was able to make Bayern pay with his three goals. It all looked rather comfortable for Hansi Flick's side in the end, running down the clock in the second half, with the pressure now set to come down upon Vincent Kompany in the opposition dugout.
Fulltime at the Estadi Olimpic Lluis Companys and Barcelona have ended their six-match losing run against Bayern Munich with a big win. It was an outstanding contest at times, but some lethal counter-attacking proved the German club's undoing as Raphinha ran riot with a classy hat-trick. The winger opened the scoring inside the first sixty seconds, and whilst Bayern levelled it back up through Harry Kane, Raphinha scored two more either side of the break, whilst Robert Lewandowski also got in on the action. It's a statement victory for Barcelona, who push up inside the top ten of the Champions League standings with six points, whilst Bayern Munich have now lost their last two European encounters.

The ball comes all the way back for Neuer to control at the back for Bayern, before he moves it back to the right for Laimer. The substitute looks up and tries a long ball through the middle, but its got way too much on it and runs behind for a goal kick with seconds left.

Balde and Fati link up down the left, before switching play for Kounde over on the right. Casado has been caught in a late challenge from Gorezta in midfield though, and Barcelona send the ball out of play so that the German substitute can pick up a yellow card.

The corner off the left is played short for Musiala at the top of the box, who sprays a long shot off his right foot high over the crossbar.

Kane tries to find Coman near the top of the box, but his pass is cut out and the ball bobbles around inside Barcelona's half. Eventually Gorezta gets it under control down the right flank, before lifting a delivery into the back post. It puts Pena under pressure and forces the keeper to punch behind for a corner.
