That's it! North Korea lifts the FIFA Under-17 Women's World Cup high towards the Santo Domingo evening sky! It was a match fitting of being a final, and the Koreans now sit alone as the most successful team in this format of the game with three titles. Thank you for joining our coverage here on Tribe, I am Cam Russell, signing off.
The presentations have got underway, with the United States joining Spain and North Korea for the formalities. USA overcame England in their match earlier today and will go home with a respectable third place. As the teams wait, there are tears on both sides - for Spain, tears of the pain of defeat, and for Korea DPR, tears of joy for their victory. In a bittersweet moment, Comendador has been awarded the Golden Boot as the highest goal scorer for the tournament.
The remainder of the half was end-to end action, but both defenses held firm, with a few heated moments between the players scattered throughout. Even with eight minutes of added time, these teams could not be separated, as we went to penalties. Korea DRP held their nerve the better of the two, with only a missed shot by Comendador being the difference that ultimately spelled doom for her team - a real shame for someone who played so well during the 90 minutes, and in the tournament overall.
What incredible theatre! North Korea has captured their third U-17 Women's World Cup title, following their successes in 2008 and 2016. In a match that started slow but built in intensity, you could be forgiven for thinking by the 62nd minute that this World Cup was going the way of Spain, who had the lead through Segura, and the dominance of possession throughout the match to that point. This was the spark that Korea DPR needed however, as they fired into action, levelling just two minutes later via Il-Chong Jon, with the goal being confirmed after a further four minutes and two separate video reviews.
KANG WINS IT FOR KOREA DPR! There was no holding back with this penalty as she buries the shot into the right side netting. No chance at all for Lopez who picked the right direction but couldn't reach it! THE WORLD CUP GOES TO NORTH KOREA!

There's no hesitation here as Kang strides forward and confidently lines up her shot that could win the World Cup for North Korea...
MORENO FIRES IT IN UNDER IMMENSE PRESSURE! It was a must-score situation, and Emma Moreno was as cool as you like, blasting it into the left side netting. She cut it close, but close enough. Spain stay alive, but Korea DPR will shoot for a possible win.
