Real Madrid have pulled off a stunning victory on the road in Bergamo to get their Champions League campaign back on track. Make sure you join us again on Tribe tomorrow for more UEFA Champions League action. It's been a pleasure bringing you this one from the Gewiss Stadium. For now, Harrison Ryburn signing out.
Atalanta return to Serie A action with a trip to Cagliari on the weekend, where they'll look to maintain their unbeaten league run and top spot in the Scudetto race. Meanwhile, Real Madrid travel to Rayo Vallenco, still trailing Barcelona in the La Liga standings.
The five-game unbeaten run ends here for Atalanta in contrast, who had enough chances to at least steal a point late on, but struggled to show a clinical touch. Again they showed why they are one of the best in Europe though, playing with plenty of intensity and tempo throughout, and continually playing around the press of their opponents with an array of exquisite passing. It looked as if they were going to go on and get the three points after making a dominant start to the the second half, but the two quick goals proved a killer blow, and they failed to bridge the gap despite a strong rally. La Dea drop out of the top eight as a result, and will likely need results from their final two games against Graz and Barcelona to get back inside and qualify straight to the round of sixteen.
A huge result for Real Madrid in the context of their season. Another slip-up tonight could well have been terminal in suffering an early Champions League effort, but when they needed their big players to perform, and luck to fall their way, it did. Carlo Ancelotti's side got off to a fast start with the Kylian Mbappe goal inside the first eleven minutes. Injury to the Frenchman before the break left them without an outlet up front though, and they struggled to maintain the same tempo. Nevertheless, against the run of play they were able to find two big goals in three minutes, pulling away on the scoreboard. The job didn't quite end there, and they were forced to nervously hold on against an Atalanta barrage late on, ultimately surviving, to put an end to their two-game winless streak in the competition.
Fulltime in Bergamo and Real Madrid have pulled off a stunning victory away at Atalanta to keep their Champions League campaign alive. It was all level at the break, but two goals in the space of three minutes proved decisive in turning the contest in Madrid's favour. First, a fortuitous bounce fell the way of Vinicius to put Los Blancos ahead, before Jude Bellingham scored another moments later to give them a two-goal advantage. It proved a bridge too far for Atalanta, who responded with a sensational solo goal from Ademola Lookman, but couldn't quite find the finishing touch for another equaliser late on. It's a result that ends La Dea's unbeaten Champions League record this season, and their nine-game unbeaten run across all competitions, whilst Real Madrid record just their third Champions League win of the season to get their campaign back on track.
90+4'
BIG CHANCE! That should have been the leveller! Lookman picks up the ball down the left, and beats his defender before powering a low delivery into the back post. It sits up for Retegui in front of goal, but the substitute can't turn it home from point blank range, and volleys over. The Atalanta players hold their head in their hands, knowing that was the chance to maintain their unbeaten record.

Eventually Vazquez is shown yellow too for clearly trying to run time down. He'll miss Madrid's next continental match with RB Salzburg.

Vazquez goes down in an effort slow the game down again, but Kossounou picks up a yellow card for trying to pick him back up in an unsportmanlike manner.
