That is all from us here at Tribe for live coverage of the Europa League as a much-changed Tottenham make it three wins from three after a hard-fought win against AZ Alkmaar. I'm Andrew Smith and thank you for joining me. Until next time.
Tottenham captain James Maddison spoke to TNT Sport after the game and commented on a conversation between him and Richarlison over who should have taken the penalty. "Initially we both wanted to take it. I'm a senior player, I was the captain today, I was going to take it. I had a little thought in my head and just thought Richy's come back from an injury, it can be difficult coming back especially as a striker - I knew that last year, it took me a while to get my first goal. That really gives confidence. It's about leadership. Richy's a good penalty taker and hopefully it gives him a big boost."
After making nine changes tonight, Postecoglou won't be overly concerned with the scoreline. Spurs were unfortunate not to score more but having said that, AZ were too in some respects. That is probably the only concern Ange will have. Outside of that, Spurs now look certain for the knockout stage and being bookmakers' favourite to win the tournament, they will really fancy themselves. Of course, there will also be no higher quality teams dropping down from the Champions League under the new format. All eyes must be on the Europa League for Postecoglou and Spurs.
JOB DONE FOR SPURS! It certainly wasn't a glittering night for Tottenham, but they maintain their 100% record in Europe with a win over AZ Alkmaar. That passive first half performance was a stark contrast from what we saw in that second 45. Spurs played some superb stuff - with Moore, Maddison, and Richarlison all influential. The latter two created the goal, with Maddison winning the penalty and Richarlison converting. Credit to AZ, they certainly played their part and Parrott in particular had a glorious chance - almost scoring a memorable equaliser against his former suitors. In the end, Spurs held on.

CHANCE! A stunning piece of play from Spurs almost wraps up the night. Bentancur feeds Kulusevski, who clips the ball onto Odobert. He races into the box away from his marker and off balance manages to clip the ball goalwards but it's agonisingly wide. The keeper was a bit late on the winger as he closed down the shot and there is a VAR check. It's eventually confirmed as no penalty, but that was awfully long.

Clasie also enters the book for dissent. I think he was unhappy with the card given to Kwakman.

Kwakman is into the book as he mistimes his tackle and brings down Johnson just past the halfway line. Great turn of pace there by the Spurs winger to beat his man to the ball.
