That is all we have time for on Tribe as Croatia come out on top against Portugal in an entertaining encounter. I have been Elliot Thompson and thank you for joining me. Make sure you tune in with us on Tribe later to get more of your football fix as USA take on Colombia in another international friendly.
Luckily Portugal do have another friendly before they kick off their Euros campaign so they can go into the tournament on a high. They face Ireland on Tuesday. Whereas next up for Croatia is the real thing as they play Spain at the Olympiastadion Berlin to open up Group B in a weeks time.
Roberto Martinez knew he had a big team talk at half-time as Portugal's first-half display was a poor one. They looked sloppy in attack and vulnerable in every transition as Palhinha dropped back to make it three defenders when in possession. Martinez made four changes at the break and they made an instant impact. Semedo linked up with Jota to grab the equaliser three minutes after the pair came on. It looked like they were going to build on that to get the win but they simply couldn't cope with Croatia. What is more worrying is that they were poor going forward as there weren't too many clearcut chances. Livakovic did well for Croatia in goal but Portugal will have to do more than that if they are serious about winning the European Championships. It says a lot when their goalkeeper Diogo Costa was by far their man of the match.
CROATIA END THEIR EURO PREPARATIONS WITH AN IMPRESSIVE WIN! Croatia took an early lead in the first-half thanks to a penalty from Modric after Kovavic was tripped over. From that moment on they were by far the more superior side in the first half with big chances for Majer, Kramaric, Gvardiol and Budimir but they couldn't build on their advantage. Early on in the second-half that came back to haunt them as Portugal equalised just three minutes after the break. However, Croatia showed their composure as they came back into the game and just eight minutes later they restored their lead. Pasalic had a venomous shot saved onto the bar but Budimir was there to follow in. They defended well from that moment on but they arguably should have won the game by more goals. So Zlatko Dalic will be very happy with his side's performance.

SAVE! Petkovic wins a flick-on after a clearance by Croatia. He heads the ball into Vlasic on the right wing. Vlasic takes a touch into the box and shoots on his right foot. Costa has his near post covered well though as he parries the ball behind for a corner.

SAVE! Nunes finds some space on the right side. His low cross is spilt by Livakovic into a crowd of players. Dias reacts quickest to take a touch and shoot on the turn. Livakovic gets up though to move across his goal holding onto the second shot.
