That is all we have time for as Turkey defeat Georgia thanks to two wonder goals in what was a fantastic spectacle. I have been Elliot Thompson and thank you for joining me. So after Turkey win their first-ever opening game at the Euros they will face one of the favourites Portugal next in what should be another entertaining game in Dortmund. For Georgia, they will face Czechia in Hamburg as they try to get their first points on the board.
Georgia will be gutted that they have come away from that game with zero points but it was such a splendid performance. They were outdone by two wonder goals and a goal which rarely ever happens at the end. Georgia defended extremely well whilst getting numbers forward which we saw with the goal. Kochorashvili managed to send in a low cross to Mikautadze who squeezed the ball in at the near post. After that, they had some good chances with Mikautadze and Kochorashvili, especially at the end. They hit the post in the last minute from the free-kick with a Kvaratskhelia cross. Wily Sagnol's men were so close to a point but he will hope his players take huge confidence from that performance. A very strong major tournament debut to say the least!
GAME OF THE TOURNAMENT SO FAR! Wow, catch your breath if you can because what a 90 minutes we have just witnessed. Turkey started the game in control but after their first goal which was a rocket from Muldur into the top right corner, the chaos began. Georgia managed to equalise before half-time with their first-ever tournament goal. In the second half though Turkey came back with a simply amazing strike from Guler who bent the ball into the top left corner! In the last minute of the game, they got a third with an open goal as Georgia threw everyone forward for a corner. Akturkoglu was the beneficiary to send the Turkey bench running down the sideline in celebration.

THAT WILL DO IT FOR TURKEY! Kvaratskhelia has a corner on the left with his goalkeeper Mamardashvili forward. The cross is punched out so Turkey break with Akturkoglu. He has an empty net so he just rolls the ball into the goal from outside the box!

OFF THE POST! Ozcan gives away a silly foul on the left side. Kvaratskhelia puts in the cross from a deep position. The ball goes all the way through hitting the post. It comes out to Kakabadze who volleys at goal but the shot is blocked.

WHAT A CHANCE! Kvaratskhelia on the left wing makes himself a yard to deliver a cross into the box. It comes to Kochorashvili who runs onto the ball to rush his shot. He puts it wide from around seven yards out when Mikautadze seemed better placed to finish. Is that the heartbreak moment for Georgia?
