Next up for Scotland is their must-win encounter with Hungary in Stuttgart. Switzerland will travel to Frankfurt to play an already-qualified Germany and vie for top spot in the group. But, that's all from me for this Euro 2024 match between Scotland and Switzerland. I've been Danny Johnston, thanks for following along live on Tribe.
Scotland keep their tournament alive. A point tonight means they do have a realistic chance of making it to the knockout stages. They play a pointless Hungary in their final group match, needing a win for chance to advance as one of the best 3rd-place finishers. They were so much better today, throwing a lot more at Switzerland than they did at Germany. McTominay was able to get in more advanced positions, with Gilmour bringing some quality into midfield behind him. There'll still be a few concerns defensively with Porteous still suspended and Tierney likely out with what looked to be a quite nasty injury. Ralston also struggled to contain the Swiss attack down the flank. But, ultimately, it was the Scots who came the closest to a winner when Hanley hit the post. In the end, it's a point that keeps their Euro 2024 campaign truly alive.
Switzerland miss out on the chance to secure qualification into the knockout stages. They move onto four points though and remain in a very strong position to advance. Their pace caused a few problems for Scotland, and they continue to show that they have plenty of attacking menace. They weren't allowed to control the game as they did against Hungary, but they still had plenty of good moments in transition. Akanji was effective at the back cleaning up a lot of what Scotland threw at the Swiss.
It's a point apiece in Cologne. Both teams scrapped and fought to find a winner. In the end though, a draw is probably a fair result and a result that neither side will be too disappointed with.

Robertson can't get around Stergiou but does win a throw off the substitute. Scotland then knock the ball back to McKenna who can switch it out to Ralsrton. He stands a cross up towards Shankland in the middle but Switzerland head it clear.
90+3'
Switzerland are pretty happy to take their time with the ball at the back. Schar then launches it forward to Amdouni who flicks the ball on, looking for Embolo. He puts just too much on the header and Gunn is quickly there to dive on the ball at the edge of this box.
90+2'
CHANCE! McGregor clips a ball across to Robertson wide on the left. He lys it across the six yard box towards McTominay in the middle. It's brilliant defence by Akanji who gets there ahead of McTominay and clears it away.
90+1'
A last roll of the dice by Clarke. He throws on striker Shankland in the place of Adams, while Christie replaces McGinn to bring further fresh legs on in attack.
