That's it from me today. Switch tabs to follow the heavyweight clash between the Netherlands and France. That game kicks off in less than an hour and Tribe will keep you updated with all the action. Good-bye for now.
Poland face the daunting challenge of playing against France in their final group game, understanding that even a miraculous victory may not be sufficient to advance to the knockout stage. Meanwhile, Austria are aware that securing just one point against the Netherlands will secure their spot in the next round.
The second half featured periods of mediocrity in front of goal, marked by cleared set-pieces and numerous blocked attempts. Robert Lewandowski entered the fray from the bench but could only witness as Austria regained the lead. In the 66th minute, Arnautovic cleverly dummied a pass from Prass, allowing Baumgartner to slot home brilliantly. Then, in the 78th minute, Arnautovic converted from the penalty spot after Sabitzer was fouled by the onrushing Szczesny, sealing Austria's victory.
After a lackluster first matchday, Austria bounced back impressively against Poland, setting their sights on the knockout stages. Austria took the lead early on when Trauner headed in Mwene's precise cross from a long throw. Despite Austria's pressure, Poland regrouped and equalized after half an hour through Piatek's skillful finish.
Ralf Rangnick's team showcased an exceptional performance in this match, arguably the standout team display of the tournament thus far. With full-backs venturing forward and defensive midfielders making penetrating runs into goal, their versatility was seriously impressive. Despite briefly losing their lead, they rallied in the second half to secure a victory. Their dominance was such that they could have easily scored four or five goals. This team is displaying serious potential and capability.
AUSTRIA GET THEIR TOURNAMENT UP AND RUNNING WITH AN IMPORTANT WIN!

WIDE! Poland maintain possession as Bednarek delivers an excellent cross from the right into the left side of the box. Grosicki finds himself unmarked but hurriedly sends his shot well wide of the left post, squandering a clear scoring opportunity for Poland.
90+1'
Seiwald attempts to release Sabitzer with a precise pass into his path. Sabitzer controls the ball adeptly, but his efforts are in vain as the offside flag is raised, halting Austria's attacking play once again.
