France ticking nicely and Mbappe goes oh so close once again. Forces a dive from Skorupski with a right footed curled effort from left of the goal. Arcing towards the bottom right corner but goes just wide of the post. Mbappe can't believe it. 

Deschamps makes his final change as Kolo Muani replaces Dembele. 

Down the left flank Poland go and Zielinski puts his head down and charges towards the byline. Lifts his head up briefly and dinks a cross into a dagerous area in the middle of the box. Lewandowski thinks about the bicycle kick momentarily but opts against and France clear behind for a corner. 

Back underway with all the players ready after taking some fluids on board. Poland with some slick passes in midfield, calmly knocking it between the French high press. Not threatening the final third just yet but good on the ball. 

Corner played in by Mbappe but no one can get on the end of it. France hold onto the ball and recycle all the way back to Maignan. They're still eagerly searching for that winner. 

SAVE! Lukas Skorupksi gets a big right foot in the way of a Theo Hernandez shot aimed at the corner of the goal. He was marked by no one on the end of a long cutback from the byline on the opposite side of goal. France building a bit of momentum. 

Poland under the pump with France launching attack after attack after attack. They're not dropping their heads though, remaining robust in their defensive shape. They've not really conceded anything more than a half chance so far, much to their delight I'm sure. 

Mbappe with a couple of shimmies and shakes as he looks for space to shoot from the angle left of the goal. Eventually does pull the trigger but it loops off a Polish foot into Skorupski's hands. 

Corner goes over the back and Mbappe looks to break. Zalewski with a cynical tug of the shirt though and he sees yellow for that. 

Two passionate renditions of the respective anthems. Now for the remainder of the pre match formalities as kick off inches ever closer, stay tuned. 

Mbappe rushes on the overlap to take the ball off Barcola's toes and he nearly finshes past a spread Skorupski. The keeper pulls off a great save though, turning it around the post for a corner. Corner taken by Dembele over on that left side. Not a great one though with Poland easily able to clear. 

TEAM NEWS, FRANCE: A mere eight days post nose fracture, Kylian Mbappe is back. He's back to skipper the side but will be wearing a protective mask which Didier Deschamps says may restrict his vision slightly. There's another change to the side that drew to Austria, with young PSG winger Barcola coming in for a start. Thuram and Griezmann drop to the bench. 

SAVE! Barcola down the left and he's one on one with Bednarek. Fantastic feet from the young winger and he dances to one side of him at the byline. Fires a shot on goal but Skorupski saves well again. He's having a good day in goals. 

Austria top the group, France go through second and the Netherlands will go through as one of the best third place finishers. 

A brief delay as we wait for first Mbappe to fix his mask, and second the officials to find a ball. We're underway now though, France get it rolling. 

CHANCE! Poland on the attack down the left. Zalewski and Zielinski linking up well with the other romping up the wing. Chipped infield for Lewandowski who powers a header down and towards the bottom left corner. It looks bound for goal but a subtle touch off Saliba's boot takes it behind. That goes unnoticed by the referee though and he awards a goal kick. 

SHOULD HAVE SCORED! From one end of the pitch to another. Poland appealing for a penalty for a challenge by Upamecano on Świderski. The referee waves it away and France break forward on the counter. Quickly they've set up a 3v2 attacking the box and Dembele sweeps it into the middle for Mbappe. Hits the shot on target but it goes straight at the keeper who saves comfortably. 

Space opens up for Hernandez down the left hand sideline. He plays a low ball into the box that's comfortably dealt with by the Polish defence. Giroud too slow to get into the box. 

Poor challenge from Rabiot, slightly lazy trip of Szymanski's heel in midfield.

Kounde goes off on a little adventure further up his right flank and keeps a hold of the ball impressively. Cuts it back for Griezmann who takes a couple of touches up towards the edge of the box. Has plenty options all around him but opts for glory. The shot lacks power and deflects off a Polish leg for a corner. 

At the moment, Austria will top the group as they are in the lead against the Netherlands in the other game. France and the Dutch will still qualify though but it will be trickier games in the last 16 should the results stay the same in the second half. 

Change made by Deschamps with his side needing a bit of a lift. Fofana on for Tchouameni. 

Poor control down the right hand side from Dembele as he takes his eye off the ball at a crucial time. Loses out and it trickles behind for a goal kick. 

Mbappe with a lovely turn and give in midfield. Great link up play between him and Kante and he's away. Tries to curl a cross around the final defender and find the run of Barcola on the left but he's got it all wrong. Doesn't have any curl and goes behind for a goal kick. 

Dembele with a little shove in the back on Kiwior as the defender was about to collect a bouncing ball. The referee awards the foul and you can sense frustration in these last couple of challenges from France. 

Dembele sprints down the right, cuts inside and side foots it to Kante arriving at the edge of the box. Hits it first time but it deflects off a defender in front of him before deflecting wide of the mark. Corner upcoming. 

Griezmann takes but Poland defend it well. France get the ball back on halfway and it's given back outside to Griezmann who staywd on the left. Whips a ball in from deep towards the back post. Helped behind for a corner a little nervously. 

TEAM NEWS, POLAND: The big news for the Poles is that Robert Lewandowski has been named in the starting eleven, and will also don the captain's armband. Unfortunately, nothing they can do tonight will stop the inevitable plane journey home. Their fate is already sealed and thus, some changes are made. Lukasz Skorupski replaces Wojiech Szczesny in net, handing the goalkeeper his first major tournament appearance despite this being his third. Piotrowski, Piatek, Buksa, Slisz all drop down to the bench as well with Moder, Szymanski and Urbanski coming on. 

Barcola wins a corner off Bednarek and Dembele trots over to take. Swung in with a bit of pace on the ball but Skorupski takes good control of the area around him and leaps to claim the ball. 

Into the first of two additional minutes at the end of the half. Frankowski with a clumsy slide tackle on Barcola and the referee awards the free kick. 

Swiderski collects inside his own half and weaves his way through on the dribble. Strong challenge comes in from Camavinga and Swiderski goes to ground. Blow of the whistle and free kick awarded. 

KIWIOR TRIPS DEMBELE, REFEREE POINTS TO THE SPOT! The winger is on the charge down the right and he attacks the box with conviction. Kiwior steps across him to try and dislodge the ball but times the challenge completely wrong. He clatters into Dembele and the referee doesn't hesitate to point at the spot. 

MBAPPE MAKES NO MISTAKE FROM 12 YARDS OUT! Steps up slowly, sends the keeper the wrong way and side foots it confidently into the bottom right corner. France take the lead. 

CHANCE! Kounde intercepts in his right back position and lays it off for Dembele to his right. All the winger needs to do his knock it past Kiwior in front of him and chase after it. Far too easy and rather average defending from the Arsenal man as he allows Dembele to stride forward. Cuts inside the box and shoots from a tight angle, but it goes wide of the far post. 

France building up dangerously and Barcola darts towards the byline. He cuts it back into a dangerous area but the Poland defence is ready and taps it behind for a corner. 

Lewandowski creeps into the box and slices a shot powerfully. The connection is all wrong and it goes well wide but the Polish support are out of their seats. Constantly and passionately urging their side on. They can feel a late winner and who can blame them? France have switched off completely. 

Dembele plays the free kick into the packed Poland box but Skorupski palms it away from danger. That'll be the last action of the half. 

BIG CHANCE GOES BEGGING! France break after a Kiwior mistake on the ball in midfield. It's good play from Kante as he commits the final defender in front of him as he drifts into the box. Lays it off to an open Dembele outside him but the shot is hit straight at the keeper. To be fair to Skorupski he closed him down quickly and made the angle trickier. Saves well and the ball ends up rolling behind the byline for a goal kick, last touch off Kante. 

Jakub Moder has a pop from about 30 yards out with nothing really opening up in front of him. It's a wild effort though that was never in any danger of troubling the goal keeper. Miles over the bar. 

The last time these two sides played against each other was in Qatar back in 2022. France comfortably won 3-1 in the last 16 of the tournament. 

Double change for Poland now as Zalewski, who is on a yellow, comes off for Skóraś. Szymański making way for Świderski is the other change. 

Triple change for France with Camavinga replacing the booked Rabiot, Griezmann coming on for Kante and Giroud taking the place of Barcola. I suspect that will push Mbappe further onto the wing while Giroud adopts a central role. 

Near post corner from Poland and France don't really deal with it. A Polish boot swipes at it amongst the bodies just outside the 6 yard box. On target but straight at Maignan who holds on well. A clash between him and Lewandowski as he tried to run it out. Both players on the ground in a heap but both seem to be fine. 

LEWANDOWSKI SLOTS HOME... eventually! Lewandowski sees his first effort at the bottom left corner saved by Maignan. Huge celebrations from the French contingent but hang on a minute, VAR has said that Maignan came off his line too early, Lewandowski can retake. He steps back up and puts it in the exact same spot with the exact same stop start run up. More power behind the second effort. 

Hello and welcome to Tribe for live coverage of this final group stage game for both of these sides. France take on Poland in Signal Iduna Park, the home of Borussia Dortmund. I'm Elliott Johns and I'll have the action for you as it happens. 

Hernandez charges down the left hand side and Swiderski takes one for the team, committing a deliberate tactical foul. Correct option from the substitute, needed to bring that counter to a halt. 

Shake of the head from Dawidowicz as he sees yellow for a clumsy challenge through the back of Giroud. Not really sure what he is complaining about, clear yellow for me. 

SHOT! Poland's turn to attack up the other end of the pitch. Zielinski collects a ricocheted pass at the edge of the box and powers a shot through all the bodies in front of him. Heading towards the bottom right corner but Maignan saves comfortably enough. 

Late appeal for a French penalty with Mbappe going down in the box. The French players and coaching staff are besides themselves that that hasn't been given. That looked like a penalty to me, but the referee sticks with his decision. 

Brief water break now. Understandable as it's very hot and sunny out there. 27 degrees celcius last time I checked. 

The corner is allowed to bounce dangerously inside the Polish 6 yard box but no one in a blue shirt reacts quick enough. Poland scramble and shut the danger down. 

France try to inflict death by a thousand passes at the edge of the Poland box but it breaks down and now Poland look to have a chance to break. Saliba is back there though and steps in to avert any potential danger.

Hold on, hold on.... the referee has been asked to have another look at this potential penalty. He checks the screen and discovers that upon closer viewing, Upamecano did make significant contact with the heel of Swiderski. Takes a couple of looks at the replay and ends up reversing his decision, pointing to the spot. 

France patiently stalk the Poland box with Mbappe leading his flock. He tries to win a foul after colliding with Kiwior going for the one two with Kante, but the referee waves it away. 

France motoring hear as they attack once more. Hernandez glides along the left flank and carries well. Crosses into the box, low driven effort. Players in blue are arriving but Zalewski gets to the ball first to hook clear. 

OVER! France win a corner and Dembele strides over to take. Short one to Rabiot who takes a touch before swinging a cross in. The French players have stayed in the box and he finds the head of Upamecano. Headed back across the goal and Saliba tries to wrap his foot around it. Doesn't connect well though and it's over the bar. 

Still the goals dilemma goes on for France. They're not flourishing in front of goal at the minute and it's pretty clear that something needs to improve if they are to continue to progress into the late stages of this tournament. 

Poland's journey in this tournament comes to an end and they've finished on a semi high note. Only a draw today but it avoids three consecutive defeats. They finish on one point and subsequently bottom of group d. 

All square after 90 minutes and on France go. Two penalties, one each for both side. Mbappe scored confidently from the spot before Lewandowski had a second bite of the cherry after Maignan came off his line too early. 

SHOT! Tiki taka from France in off the right flank drifting towards the box on the angle. Slick passing and it breaks for Mbappe about 22 yards out. He pulls the trigger with the left but it's a wild strike that goes over the bar. 

Once again France open Poland up down the left hand side with Mbappe finding space. Gets to the byline inside the box and shoots from a tight angle. Skorupski this time saves with his feet, deflecting behind for a corner. 

Despite the haze from the multiple flares around the game, we're up and running. Tidy build up play from Poland but it's lost in the final third and Maignan scoops it up. 

Dembele playing a central role in this attack and he has options to both sides. Opts to go down the middle to Mbappe but the captain's touch is a little strong. Cleared only as far as Saliba who plays it back to Mbappe. Flicked on to Kounde on the overlap who cuts it back towards Giroud. Gets a toe to it first but again it ricochets off the tight marker behind for a corner. 

Nasty looking collision between Tchouameni and Lewandowski in midfield. It was a true 50/50 and they clattered into each other at a rate of knots. Both a bit ginger as they get back to their feet but nothing further materialises. 

Moder loses his footing as he was trying to play a long ball find Lewandowski. Despite that, it still almost reaches him. However, Maignan is off his line right at the boundary of his own 8 yard box and must be pretty thankful that the ball just about evaded Lewandowski. Smothered and Maignan stays down for a moment to allow everyone to catch their breath. 

JUST WIDE! Lewandowski steals it off Tchouameni in a dangerous position and spins away from him. Bit of space for the attacker now as he pulls his right foot back to shoot. Fires the effort away but it goes just wide of the left post. Maignan wasn't sure though and had to dive anyway. 

It didn't happen for either side in front of goal today. Both sides weren't clinical enough when the opportunities cropped up. Both keepers had busy days in net and by and large they were both excellent. 

Kante working hard pressing high up the pitch but he's a little over ambitious in his latest challenge, fouling Dawidowicz inside the Polish box. Skorupski will lump this forward well away from his own goal. 

Mbappe picks the ball up on the left flank and swiftly tucks inside and goes on one of his gorgeous dribbles. There's a lack of support with him though and the attack breaks down. 

Kiwior of all people takes up an attacking role down the left flank. Plays a dinked cross into the box from adjacent to the men in the middle. He's overhit it but Poland retain possession. Passed back to Moder who whips it powerfully into the middle. Lewandowski tries to get his head on the right side and does. Gets good contact on it but it deflects away for a corner. 

Half time at the break and it's goalless so far. Both sides with good opportunities and good spells. France probably the stronger of the two sides but debutant Skorupski has done a tremendous job in keeping their attacks out.
