That wraps up our coverage of this International friendly between England and Iceland. Thank you for joining me, Zak Brown on Tribe!
That is the last time we will see England before they open their Euro 2024 campaign with a clash against Serbia. Star player Jude Bellingham should be available for that Group C opener, having been rested tonight. But there is plenty of work to do for Gareth Southgate over the next week or so, if they are to be taken seriously as one of the favourites for the tournament.
The full-time whistle goes at Wembley and Iceland have secured another famous win over England! Although the result does not bear any significance, it is not the ideal final Euro 2024 preparation for England, who looked toothless in attack tonight. Whilst Iceland did not have anything to play for, they gave their fans in attendance and their nation proud with an organised and professional display. Iceland outnumbered England by four to one with shots on target, which will likely be the most worrying thing for Gareth Southgate to take from this game. Anthony Gordon, Cole Palmer and Trent Alexander-Arnold were arguably the bright sparks for England in what was a drab performance. The saving grace for England is that most players look to have come through the game unscathed, although John Stones was substituted at half-time having picked up a knock in the opening few minutes.

Isak Bergmann Johannesson is booked in the dying stages for a cynical foul.

Joe Gomez fires well wide for England, with time fast running out for the hosts.

CLOSE! Trent Alexander-Arnold has been busy for England since coming on and almost finds an equaliser late in the piece. His strike towards the far post takes a slight deflection which takes the ball just wide, giving England a corner kick.
90+3'
Iceland make a late substitution, with goalscorer J贸n Dagur Thorsteinsson replaced by Valgeir Lunddal Fridriksson for a short appearance.
