That wraps things up from this one, but thanks for joining us on Tribe. This is Ryan Nixon (@NewYorkNixon) signing off.
As for Milan, it continues a rocky start to their season, and they'll have plenty to ponder after what was a rather toothless display outside of the opening minutes. Rafael Leao created plenty down the left alongside Theo Hernandez, and Christian Pulisic had some bright moments, but they were well outplayed.
It was a much more fluent display on attack from Liverpool after their frustrations at the weekend, with Gakpo and Salah looking sharp, while Ryan Gravenberch and Alexis Mac Allister controlled midfield. They'll be pleased with the performance as much as they will the result, and it's a good bounce back following the loss to Nottingham Forest. That should give them encouragement ahead of their clash with Bournemouth this week.
The second half wasn't quite as one sided, as Milan did manage to fashion some half chances, despite never really testing Alisson with anything meaningful on goal. Liverpool, having absorbed pressure as Milan tried to find an equaliser, were then able to find their third on the break, with Gakpo again prominent down the left flank. Dominik Szoboszlai cushioned home the goal, and that effectively sealed the result.
So Liverpool get their Champions League campaign off to a perfect start, winning away at the San Siro. It didn't look like that would be the case early on though, as Christian Pulisic sparked AC Milan to the lead inside the opening minutes. That was about as good as it got for Milan though, as Liverpool took control of the game and created chances galore. It took a couple of set piece goals to put them in front going to the break, with both central defenders Ibrahima Konate and Virgil van Dijk nodding home, but Mohamed Salah hit the goal frame twice, and Cody Gakpo created chances as well as they poured forward time and again.

OFF THE POST! Milan have a chance for a late consolation, but Leao twists and turns into the box and then crashes a shot off the left post!

SAVE! The free kick is whipped in towards Gabbia, and after a skied Gomez clearance, eventually Liverpool clear. Diaz then charges forward at the other end, and it leads to a Nunez shot low at the left post. Torriani saves with his legs.
90+4'
Abraham wins a free kick off Endo down Milan's right, and Abraham then raises a finger in the face of Endo. The Japanese midfielder doesn't look bothered at all by the interaction, as the referee comes to cool things down.
90+3'
Double switch for Liverpool, and it's a Liverpool debut for Chiesa alongside Endo. Salah and Mac Allister depart.
