That rounds things off for today's FA Cup action. Brighton have got their name in the hat for the next round. For now, this is Nicholas Friedlander signing out.
Chelsea's mid-season slide continues with a dour showing that has seen them dumped out the FA Cup. After a strong start, they faded badly, offering very little outside of their early spell of dominance. Cole Palmer was sloppy, whilst the rest of the attack ranged from anonymous to overly passive. The midfield didn't function in unison, and though they were decent defensively, they were hardly commanding. Brighton did not create loads, and got a touch of luck for the second, but they can have few complaints in defeat.
The Seagulls were worthy of the victory in the end, with their attacking play much more accurate than that of the visitors. Georginio Rutter was magical with a goal and an assist, showing the quality he possesses. Kaoru Mitoma too was always a threat, and definitely had the better of Malo Gusto when working down the left. Tariq Lamptey worked well in comhination, enjoying his best game in quite some time, whilst Carlos Baleba shored up the midfield nicely. They bounce back from the 7-0 thumping in the best way possible.
Brighton advance to the Fifth Round of the FA Cup, completing a come from behind win against a below-par Chelsea side. In a scrappy game, it was Kaoru Mitoma's cheeky dink that got them over the line in normal time, which now sets them up for a deep run in the world's oldest cup competition.
90+4'
Gusto hoofs it out, but only as far as Gomez. He tried the spectacular from range, but only manages to slice it out to the corner flag.
90+3'
Brighton get the corner away, and work it all the way down the left where Mitoma forces a corner for his side. They will look to hold this in the corner.
90+2'
Tosin feeds a great through ball down the right for Madueke, who reached it on the byline. He pulled it back, with it blocked, though only as far as Fernandez who struck goalwards. Verbruggen saved, though the flag was already up for a corner.
90+1'
Fernandez looks to skip away through midfield, but is chopped down and is left holding his ankle. Chelsea quickly get it in again.
