That is all we have time for on Tribe as Tottenham beat Everton with ease. I have been Elliot Thompson and thank you for joining me. Stay with us on Tribe as Arsenal take on Aston Villa in just under 30 minutes time.
Next up for Spurs is an away game against Newcastle United next weekend which will take place on Sunday. For Everton, it is another tough encounter as they host Bournemouth at Goodison Park. Before that though they have a League Cup game against Doncaster Rovers.
The away end seemed to filter out a long time before the full-time whistle after another dismal display from Everton. They lacked any attacking threat in open play whilst their defence was simply all over the place from the opening minutes. In some ways, they are lucky that it was only four but even still that is a depressing scoreline. Their best chances came from set-piece and Lindstrom had a shot saved by Vicario in the second half. Harrison Armstrong looked lively off the bench for his debut. Apart from that there wasn't much to shout about.
TOTTENHAM WIN THEIR FIRST GAME OF THE SEASON IN CONVINCING STYLE! It was a day to remember for the home fans as they strolled to victory against Everton. A first-half strike from Bissouma sent them on their way before Son capitalised on a horrendous Pickford error for a simple tap-in. The second half was more of the same as Romero headed in from a Maddison corner with around 20 minutes to go. Shortly after that Son got his second thanks to a ridiculous from one box to the other from Van de Ven. He slid his shot under Pickford for the cherry on top of a perfect afternoon for Spurs.

Armstrong picks up a loose ball but is fouled by Sarr. Everton play it short to McNeil on the left wing. They go back to Keane who brings Armstrong back into play. He dribbles past Gray as he enters the box but his pass to the left flank is too short.

The second-to-last change from Everton is a nice one as Harrison Armstrong is on for his Premier League debut. Gueye makes way for him.

Johnson sprints to the byline on the right wing. Mykolenko gets there before he can cross so he concedes a corner. Bergvall whips in the corner from the right which is flicked on by Richarlison. Everton then clear it away.
