That wraps up Tribe's live coverage of Southampton vs Ipswich. I've been Harry Dowsett, and I will see you next time.
While the draw sees Southampton earn their first point of the 2024/25 Premier League campaign, the Saints will feel hard done by having been mere minutes away from picking up all three. Ipswich, on the other hand, will be delighted with the point given the balance of the game and now move into 16th, level on points with Leicester City.
However, Ipswich found a way back into the game in an incredibly dramatic fashion. With the game appearing to be heading towards a victory for the hosts, the ball fell to Ipswich captain Morsy on the edge of the box before he rifled a deflected effort into the top left corner of the goal from just over 20 yards out. It was certainly against the run of play, but Kieran McKenna and his players will not care.
WOW! What a game for the neutral that was. Ipswich started the better of the two teams and, but for some poor finishing in the opening phases, could have scored an early goal themselves. But it was the Saints, who steadily grew into the game, that scored first through an excellent Dibling strike. From then on, Southampton were in control for large parts of the match and were doing a good job of protecting their lead.
90+8'
Ramsdale launches the ball up the pitch from deep in his own half, with the Saints desperate to restore their lead. The pass lacks accuracy, however, and falls at the feet of the Ipswich defence.
90+5'
A LATE EQUALIZER! Ipswich earn themselves a corner and the ball falls to Morsy on the edge of the D, around 22 yards out. He smashes a volley towards the goal which deflects off of Aribo and into the top left corner. Ramsdale stood no chance.

Davis lines up a long throw-in on the left flank and launches the ball into the box. It is a dangerous pass, but Southampton deal with it well and send the ball flying back towards halfway.
90+2'
Stewart gives away a needless free-kick for a careless foul in a dangerous position just past halfway on the right flank.
