A first Premier League home win of the season for Nottingham Forest as they rise to eighth in the table! One strike was all in took, on a weekend where goals were spread across all 10 Premier League games. The winner had more than a touch of fortune about it, Chris Wood's low half-volley from outside the penalty area catching Crystal Palace goalkeeper Dean Henderson by surprise and finding a way into the bottom left corner just after the hour mark. The visitors threw caution to the wind, as they needed to, but their best effort saw Jeffrey Schlupp denied by a fine Matz Sels intervention. That's eight league games without victory for Palace, who host London rivals Tottenham Hotspur next. It doesn't get any easier for the Eagles, it seems. Tonight, however, it's Forest who soar highest at the City Ground!
