That wraps up our coverage of this opening Premier League fixture between Manchester United and Fulham. We still have nine more games to look forward to over this first Premier League gameweek, with Ipswich vs Liverpool next up in the early Saturday kick off. Please join us again then, but in the meantime thank you for joining us on Tribe!
Next up for Manchester United is a trip to Brighton next weekend, whilst Fulham will look to bounce back when they host newly-promoted Leicester City next up.
Meanwhile, Fulham will no doubt want to improve their chance conversion, after failing to test Andre Onana enough despite getting into some promising attacking positions throughout the game.
A clean sheet will be a welcome bonus for Erik Ten Hag's side. With Matthijs De Ligt introduced as a substitute and Noussair Mazraoui producing a solid debut Premier League performance for United, they will look forward to building on this opening game clean sheet, despite riding their luck on a few occasions during the match.
The full-time whistle goes and it's a huge three points for Manchester United to kickstart their campaign! The Red Devils lacked a killer instinct for much of the game, but what a moment for Joshua Zirkzee to come off the bench and grab the winner in front of his home support! Meanwhile, Fulham will rue wasting two major opportunities where they had a numerical advantage against the United defence. Alejandro Garnacho is already in contention for miss of the season, after dragging the ball wide with an open goal inside the dying seconds of the game. But fortunately for him, the miss did not prove costly as United held out for the final play of the match.

WHAT A MISS! Marcus Rashford finds himself through on goal after a complete air swing by Calvin Bassey. Rashford lays the ball off for Garnacho rather than shooting himself, but Garnacho drags the ball horribly wide with the goal at his mercy!
90+2'
CLOSE! United counter quickly down the left and look to put the game to bed. But Garnacho is denied from close range and Fulham look to get the ball down the other end of the field as quickly as possible.

Jay Stansfield and Harrison Reed are thrown on for Fulham in the dying stages, replacing Sasa Lukic and Andreas Pereira.
