Thanks for joining us. That's it for this game but switch tabs to follow the West Ham v. Manchester City game. Until next time, this is Sanil Karan saying goodbye.
Make no mistake, Everton dominated the game for 87 minutes and seemed to be in complete control. However, they remarkably threw away their lead, conceding three goals in a matter of minutes. It was a dramatic and devastating collapse.
Bournemouth managed to pull one back late in the game when Antoine Semenyo scored from Dango Ouattara’s cross, setting up a tense finish. The mounting pressure proved too much for Everton, who conceded an equalizer in stoppage time when the diminutive Lewis Cook headed in from a corner. Bournemouth’s relentless pressure continued, culminating in Justin Kluivert’s delivery being headed home by Luis Sinisterra at the very end, leading to a chorus of boos from the home fans at full-time.
After the break, Bournemouth struggled to clear Jack Harrison’s cross, allowing Michael Keane to score with a precise half-volley into the far corner, igniting the crowd at Goodison Park. As Everton's dominance grew, they extended their lead before the hour mark when McNeil's well-placed pass set up Dominic Calvert-Lewin to chip the ball over Kepa. Despite a triple substitution, Bournemouth were unable to halt Everton's momentum, and the game continued to slip away from them.
Despite Everton's challenging position at the bottom of the league, their early performance against unbeaten Bournemouth was promising, with the Toffees dominating play. Idrissa Gueye missed a golden opportunity, and Iliman Ndiaye's effort was saved by Kepa Arrizabalaga, adding to the mounting frustration. Sean Dyche would have been concerned that these missed chances could prove costly, knowing that securing the first goal was crucial for maintaining the support and momentum at Goodison Park.

THE CHERRIES SEAL A MIGHTY COMEBACK WIN! Cook delivers a perfectly weighted pass to Kluivert on the left, who immediately puts it into the box. Sinisterra arrives at the right spot inside the right of the box and heads the ball inside the right post, securing a miraculous win for Bournemouth.

BIG CHANCE! A clipped ball from the right into the box finds Tavernier unmarked at the edge of the area. Pickford makes a superb reaction save, swiftly getting his hands to the ball and deflecting it away from goal. It’s a top-class save, but Tavernier's shot was too straight and lacked the necessary precision to beat Pickford, who had no other defenders to contend with.

Iroegbunam is booked for dissent. Don't know what he was complaining about as it was a fair goal.
