That's all from me then, make sure you stick around on Tribe for coverage of all your favourite sports, including West Ham hosting Man City shortly. For now though, I'm Jonny Lawrence, and we'll see you next time.
Moving on from here, it's a tough trip for Brentford, but they'll have a couple of weeks to prepare for their match at the Etihad against the champions. Saints at least get to head on home, where they will welcome Manchester United when the league resumes.
Southampton, well where do you start? A club that is right in most people's predictions to head for relegation, certainly performed to that level today. They gave away goals once more, and up the other they missed their fair share of chances too. At this level, you have got to be better, or you'll end up looking back in eight months time at these sorts of games with disappointment.
Another three points and Brentford are given a good start to the season as we head into the first international break. They looked sharp from the off, and despite being gifted a couple of goals, they thoroughly deserved to win today. Wissa and Mbuemo caused all sorts of problems, with the help of the likes of Jensen and Janelt behind them. At the back, Saints did get a few looks at goal, but Flekken was solid right up until Sugawara stabbed one past him at the end.
The ref calls time, and it's a comfortable three points for the home side.

WONDERFUL FINISH! It's only a consolation, but at least Saints are on the board for the first time this season. Dibling sparks it, gently floating a ball in towards the near post, where the old-timer Lallana smartly touches it down for Sugawara behind him. On the angle inside the box, the Japanese throws his left foot at it, stabbing it perfectly off the inside of the left upright and in!

SAVE! Saints to their credit are still looking to pinch one, and it's Fernandes dancing through into the box and somehow squirming to the six yard area. Flekken has to react to come quickly, and manages to cut all the angles down and put his body in the road.

Mbuemo brings down a long ball from the back and looks inside the box towards Wissa. He chests it for Carvalho to shoot but there's just enough pressure on him that he can't get an effort away, and instead it spills through to Ramsdale.
