BRENTFORD EARN THREE POINTS IN ANOTHER GOAL FEST! Wow, just take a deep breath after that 90 minutes. Thomas Frank would have wanted a calming encounter after their last home match against Wolves but he got anything but. In the first half, they ended up falling two goals down in three minutes. Just before the break, though, Wissa got one after some positive play from Lewis-Potter. Just minutes later they scored again as Wissa was through on goal. His shot hit Muric and then Clarke before rolling over the line. In the second 45 minutes, Mbeumo put Brentford ahead with a penalty after Clarke fouled Lewis-Potter. With just four minutes to go, they were pegged back by Delap. However, that didn't stop them from securing the winner. Mbeumo drifted in off the right wing. He was only sending in a cross but the delivery flew over everyone and into the bottom left corner. That sent Brentford fans crazy (rightfully so) but they so nearly had to watch their team concede another equaliser. Delap whacked the post with an audacious strike on the left side of the area. But, Brentford did just enough to hold on and secure another home win!
