That's all we've got time for, I'm afraid! Thank you for joining us on the opening weekend of the Premier League season, with lots more still to come. Until next time, this is James Messenger saying goodbye!
It's all over in West London! The beaming smile on Thomas Frank's face says it all too. His side hang on for their first win of the season - and in doing so, they seal a first Premier League win over Crystal Palace at the seventh attempt. Brentford led at half-time but faced a much-improved Crystal Palace in the second period. An Ethan Pinnock own-goal was nothing less than the Eagles deserved shortly before the hour mark, before the offside flag denied them a second goal in a matter of minutes as Odsonne Edouard's confident finish was chalked off. Chances came and went for the visitors, while Brentford's only real sighter of the second half was snapped up by Yoane Wissa, on-hand to guide the ball home from close range with 14 minutes to go after Dean Henderson couldn't take in Nathan Collins' scuffed effort goalwards. It's a brilliant opening-day result for the Bees, while Oliver Glasner will be wondering quite how his Palace side have managed to come away from the Gtech Community Stadium with nothing to show for their efforts.
Brentford are off to a winning start!
90+4'
Last chance saloon now for Palace, who have everyone besides Henderson stationed inside the Brentford half as we enter the final 60 seconds. Is there time?
90+1'
A late booking for Ayew, who flies in to try and win a loose ball alongside Norgaard near halfway. He gets there a split-second too late and catches his man on the top of the foot. It's not the best challenge, so Ayew becomes the latest Palace player to see yellow.

A rousing ovation for Bryan Mbuemo as he makes way for the final seconds. Central defender Ben Mee is the player to replace him.
