Thanks for joining me here on Tribe as Bournemouth inflicted Manchester City’s first Premier League loss of the season onto the Champions at the Vitality Stadium this afternoon; I hope you’ve enjoyed our coverage; I’ve been Rory Morrow and I look forward to seeing you again soon for another live text commentary!
Up Next - Bournemouth are away at Brentford next Saturday afternoon in their final game before the international break. Man City, meanwhile travel to Portugal to take on Sporting Lisbon in the Champions League on Tuesday night. That precedes a trip to Brighton & Hove Albion in next Saturday’s teatime match at the Amex Stadium.
Manchester City, who've frequently gone behind and recovered to win, were unable to do so today, falling to their first Premier League defeat of the campaign. They started slowly and were punished by Semenyo's strike, meaning they were always chasing the game. Their defence, not for the first time this season, was prized apart on the counter while Haaland and co were thwarted by a resilient Bournemouth backline. How they react from here will be fascinating especially with Brighton away and Spurs at home representing their two next league opponents.
Another hugely impressive result for The Cherries who make it three games unbeaten against Arsenal, Aston Villa and now, Manchester City. Semenyo, always a livewire, was unplayable at times today, causing Man City's defence no shortage of problems. Kerkez, flying forward from left-back, was magnificent whilst stand-in goalkeeper Travers held firm, remarkably, at the end. Evanilson's second goal in as many games was well taken and will do him the world of good as Bournemouth can celebrate another fine three points here at home.
MAN CITY'S UNBEATEN START IS ENDED BY BOURNEMOUTH - The Champions fall to their first Premier League defeat this season as Bournemouth take another big scalp at the Vitality Stadium this afternoon! Nine minutes in and they led through Semenyo, tucking home from Kerkez's ball in. City bossed possession but couldn't find a way through. Indeed, they fell further behind when Semenyo and Kerkez countered, the latter setting up Evailson for an ice-cool finish. Gvardiol's glancing header set up a nervy finish but Travers superbly denied Haaland before Foden fired inches wide as Bournemouth held on to win!

CHANCE - So close! Lewis cutely releases Foden ahead of him, centrally. From just outside the box, Foden's low powerful strike is only an inch or two past the right-hand post! Another goal-kick for the hosts.
90+5'
CHANCE - Walker, from the right touchline, whips in a tantalising ball. Foden, going for it ahead of Haaland, flicks his head onto it with the ball grazing past the left-hand post and behind for a goal-kick to Bournemouth.
90+4'
SAVE - From the right, Foden's swirling delivery finds the head of Haaland. Centrally, six yards out, Haaland's close-range header is instinctively batted away by Travers, with the loose ball bobbling off the left-hand post, the well-placed Smith lashes it high up-field from his own goal-line.

Foden wins City a corner after his wicked cross from the right is put behind by Cook...
