That is all we have time for on Tribe as Aston Villa wins the West Midlands derby. I have been Elliot Thompson, and thank you for joining me. Stay with us on Tribe as Crystal Palace kick-off against Manchester United in just under ten minutes.
Aston Villa now sit in third place in the Premier League on 12 points. Next up for them is Carabao Cup action, as they have an away game against Wycombe Wanderers next week. In the league, they have a favourable match as they take on Ipswich Town. For Wolves, it is a sorry sight as they sit bottom of the table with just one point. Next weekend, they host Liverpool, so it doesn't get any easier for them.
Wolves will be so annoyed as they have once again let a lead slip after such a good first-half display. They were in control of the first half before and after Cunha's fantastic finish. He read the poor pass out from the back by Carlos before taking a touch away from Onana. On the edge of the area, he fired the ball into the bottom left corner. After that goal, Wolves carried on to knock the ball about confidently. They came so close to doubling their lead through Ait-Nouri. However, in the second 45 minutes, they didn't carry on dominating the ball as they sat back. Whether that was intentional or just due to the Villa pressure, only Gary O'Neil will know. Either way, he will be so disappointed his team have let more potential points slip away.
ASTON VILLA ARE THE COMEBACK KINGS ONCE AGAIN! Unai Emery's men win another game in the Premier League after falling behind. They didn't threaten at all in the first half, but Emery made some changes at half-time. Bailey and Maatsen allowed Villa to sustain pressure. However, the equaliser didn't come until after Barkley and Duran came onto the pitch. It was Ollie Watkins who scored the equaliser. The attack started with a loose touch by Duran, but Rogers showed his fantastic composure to slip Watkins in. On the right side of the box, he did the rest. The winner came with two minutes to go as Konsa got on the end of a delicious cross from Tielemans. In stoppage time, the cherry on top was that man Jhon Duran once again getting in on the act from the bench. It was certainly a game of two halves for Villa, and what a second-half performance it was!
