That’s all for today’s match. Thanks for joining Tribe for this coverage. The Premier League action continues tomorrow, and I’ll see you then. Until next time, this is Sanil Karan signing off.
Arsenal maintained their attacking momentum, securing a comfortable victory that lifts them to second in the Premier League table, at least for now. Meanwhile, West Ham struggled to compete for much of the match leaving them in 14th place, six points above the relegation zone.
The thrilling first half was followed by a quieter second period, largely due to a stoppage-time goal that seemed to quell West Ham's hopes of a comeback. In complete control, Mikel Arteta's side comfortably held off any West Ham attacks, with Tomas Soucek's diving header easily gathered by Raya in a half lacking significant goalmouth action. The closest Arsenal came to extending their lead was a late free-kick from Raheem Sterling that went wide, while substitute Danny Ings had a golden opportunity, rounding Raya but missing the target while off-balance shortly after.
West Ham's recent improvement was quickly challenged as Arsenal took the lead just 10 minutes in. Gabriel Magalhaes scored from a Saka corner, and despite West Ham's efforts, Arsenal dominated, with Saka and Odegaard combining beautifully to set up Trossard for a tap-in. Saka then allowed Odegaard to convert a penalty after Paqueta's foul, sparking a chaotic six-minute spell of goals. Arsenal seemed to have sealed the win when Havertz added a fourth, but West Ham responded with quick goals from Wan-Bissaka and a stunning free-kick by Emerson. However, Saka's penalty just before halftime restored Arsenal’s three-goal advantage, leaving West Ham with little chance of a comeback.
FIVE STAR PERFORMANCE FROM ARSENAL TAKES THEM TO SECOND PLACE ON THE TABLE!

After Jesus' near miss, the referee revisits a challenge from earlier in the play, booking West Ham's Coufal for a reckless foul on Rice. The tackle, which took down Rice in the buildup, was deemed a poor challenge and earns Coufal a yellow card.

WIDE! Gabriel Jesus bursts into the left side of the box to meet Sterling's precise pass, leaving him with just the goalkeeper to beat. He takes the shot with power, but it flies just inches past the left post, rattling the side netting.

CHANCE! Irving plays a through ball for Ings, and Saliba misjudges his attempt to intercept, leaving Ings with a clear path to goal. Ings takes the ball past Raya and is left with an open net to aim for from the right side of the box. However, under pressure and with his back to goal, he drags his shot wide of the left post.
