That’s it for this match, but don’t go anywhere – there’s more Premier League action coming up shortly, including Bournemouth v. Liverpool. Catch you then!
Brighton struggled to create clear chances in the early second half, while Forest continued to dominate. Elanga set up Chris Wood for a simple close-range finish to make it four, and just six minutes later, Tariq Lamptey fouled Gibbs-White in the box, allowing Wood to complete his hat-trick from the penalty spot, taking his tally to 17 Premier League goals. With the game well out of reach, Brighton focused on damage control, but Forest added two more goals late on, with Neco Williams finishing clinically in the box and Jota Silva scoring his first-ever Premier League goal, sealing a dominant victory for the hosts.
After a heavy defeat at Bournemouth, Forest manager Nuno Espirito Santo warned his side to improve, and they responded with a commanding performance against Brighton. Forest took the lead in the 12th minute when Lewis Dunk accidentally diverted Morgan Gibbs-White’s low cross into his own net, before doubling their advantage with Gibbs-White's header from an Anthony Elanga corner. The momentum continued as Chris Wood added a third, heading in another Elanga delivery. Brighton had a chance to get back into the game, but Danny Welbeck’s powerful strike was denied by a brilliant save from Matz Sels.

Sangare fouls Rutter in midfield with a pull, but as Rutter is on the ground, Anderson kicks the ball, inadvertently striking him. Brighton players protest, feeling it was more than just an accident, but the referee waves away their complaints, ruling the incident as unintentional.

Forest are now controlling possession with ease, expertly keeping the ball in midfield and frustrating Brighton as they struggle to regain it. The visitors, desperate to make an impact, are being forced to chase shadows as Forest dictate the tempo of the game. It's a masterclass in game management from Forest. It's been like that all game.
90+5'
Dominguez plays a perfect ball over the top to Jota Silva, who finds himself inside the left side of the box with several options in the area. Instead of crossing, Silva opts to shoot but his effort is well off target, going wide to the right. Forest lose a potential opportunity to further extend their lead.
90+3'
Gomez picks out O'Riley in midfield, who delivers a well-weighted ball into the box. However, Morato is alert and rises to head the ball clear, denying Brighton any chance to threaten. Forest maintain their defensive shape as they continue to frustrate Brighton's attempts to break through.
90+1'
IT'S SEVEN! Verbruggen attempts to play out from the back, but his pass is intercepted by Jota Silva, who pounces on the loose ball. Silva drives into the right side of the box and coolly slides it through Verbruggen's legs, sending it into the bottom right corner of the net. It's a clinical finish, and Forest extend their lead in emphatic fashion.
