That wraps things up on Tribe, thanks for joining us. The fixtures come thick and fast with another round of Premier League action starting with Newcastle v Bournemouth on Saturday lunchtime. See you then!
So Brighton move up to 9th after this victory with 31 points, four behind the top six. They face a trip to Old Trafford to take on Manchester United on Sunday. They will fancy their chances if they play as well as they did tonight. Ipswich face the other Manchester side when Pep Guardiola's City side visit Portman Road on Sunday. They fall to 18th but only on goals scored, as they now have the same goal difference as Wolves.
Fabian Hurzeler will be delighted to see his side finally register a victory in the Premier League after failing to win their previous eight matches. Having been held to draws by all three promoted sides in the first half of the season, it looked like that may be about to happen again at the break. Brighton came out with renewed purpose in the second half though and carved open the Ipswich defence for the first goal, before a set piece was turned in late on to establish a two-goal cushion. Yasin Ayari was immense in midfield for the Seagulls tonight, winning his battles and moving the ball forward well on multiple occasions. The quality of Brighton's attacking substitutes also made a real difference as the likes of Yankuba Minteh and Georginio Rutter got at a tiring Ipswich defence.
Ipswich Town drop into the Premier League drop zone then as a result of this two-goal defeat. They weren't able to restrict Brighton going forward as much in the second half and paid the price. Christian Walton may be disappointed he couldn't keep out Kaoru Mitoma's low strike for the opener, but Ipswich were poor from front to back in the second half. They weren't able to test Bart Vebruggen as they did in the first period, and can have few complaints at the outcome. It was difficult for them to get out of their own half when they did have possession as Brighton pressed them well and made life difficult. The Tractor Boys will need to move on quickly from this disappointment as Manchester City visit in just three days time.
Brighton come out on top for the first time in almost two months in the Premier League after second-half strikes from Kaoru Mitoma and Georginio Rutter. They were full value for the three points after dominating possession then taking their chances after the break. Ipswich battled away but were second best across the pitch tonight. They fall to a first league defeat in three.

Jack Clarke pulls Joel Veltman down as he steps inside him inside the Brighton half. Free kick to Brighton. They will take their time over this as Bart Verbruggen steps up to take it.
90+4'
Yasin Ayari has been superb for Brighton in midfield tonight. He comes off in stoppage time for Jakub Moder.

Ipswich float the free kick towards the penalty area from near halfway through Leif Davis. It's helped across by Dara O'Shea but Carlos Baleba clears for Brighton in the middle.
