That is all we have time for on Tribe as Tottenham earn a long-awaited win with a gritty performance. I have been Elliot Thompson and thank you for joining me. Stay with us on Tribe for the big one in half an hour, Arsenal versus Manchester City.
Brentford overall were really disapointing today. In the first half Schade and Mbeumo showed some sparks with snap shot as well as some pacey dribbling. In the second half though it was like they ran out of ideas really quickly. However, Thomas Frank's men did have two big chances. One came to Wissa with the ball falling to him from six yards out yet he scuffed it over the bar. Another came to Carvalho who hooked the ball towards the right corner after a throw. Spence cleared it away off the line though. That loss leaves Brentford in 11th place on 31 points.
TOTTENHAM STOP THE ROT WITH A MUCH-NEEDED VICTORY! Well, that was certainly not one for the neutral but Ange Postecoglou will not care as his side have got three points, finally. That is their first win in the Premier League since the middle of December. They went ahead in the first half with some luck due to an own goal. Son made it with a pacey delivery to the front post from a corner. It hit Janelt before finding the bottom left corner. In the second half, they sat back inviting pressure coping with it fine. With three minutes left Son found Sarr on the left side of the area allowing him to poke the ball into the back of the net. That confirmed the three points that takes them up to 14th, on 27 points. Next up for Spurs is a massive Carabao Cup semi-final second leg at Anfield against Liverpool.

Scarlett does enough to hold the ball up on the left wing. He plays it back to Son who gives it to Sarr. They work it back to Davie who hits it long to Scarlett. He chests it down and looks to run towards the corner flag. However he is stopped due to being flagged offside.

SHOT! Spence goes down expecting a free-kick on the left flank. Mbeumo takes it off him and runs at Davies. He sidesteps past him before Davies is tough in his tackle bringing him down. The referee rushes over to confirm it is just a free-kick. From a tight angle, Mbeumo goes for goal but curls it well over the bar. Poor decision.

THAT SHOULD DO IT FOR TOTTENHAM! Bentancur carries the ball through midfield. He picks out Son deep on the left wing. Son stops and waits for the run from Sarr into the left side of the box. Son finds him with a low-through ball. That allows Sarr to poke it beyond Valdimarsson at the near post.

OFF THE LINE! On the left wing, Kayode has another one of his giant throws. It comes all the way through to the six-yard box as it drops down for Carvalho. With his back towards goal, he swings his foot around the ball sending it towards the bottom right corner. Spence is there to clear it off the line.
