Thanks for joining me here on Tribe as Arsenal returned to winning ways by easing past Nottingham Forest at the Emirates Stadium this afternoon; I hope you’ve enjoyed our coverage; I’ve been Rory Morrow, and I look forward to seeing you again soon for another live text commentary!
Up Next - Arsenal are away for their next two tests, first facing Sporting Lisbon in the Champions League on Tuesday night. That precedes a trip to West Ham United in next Saturday’s evening match. Nottingham Forest face Ipswich Town at home earlier that same day.
Successive Premier League defeats for Nottingham Forest, then. They were under the cosh from minute one today as Arsenal started with an intensity that Forest couldn't cope with. They made life difficult for The Gunners but didn't really pose an attacking threat. How they bounce back from these setbacks will be intriguing to see, having enjoyed such a good start to the season.
A first Premier League win in five for Arsenal and a much-needed one as they build up for the busy run of the festive schedule. Today, Odegaard and Saka were simply unplayable, combining cleverly throughout and looking like they were reaping the benefits of a fortnight off. Nwaneri, who's done well in his cameos so far, will be delighted to have got on the scoresheet too, giving Mikel Arteta another attacking option for the coming weeks.
ARSENAL RETURN TO WINNING WAYS - An important victory for Arsenal, this afternoon as they ease past Nottingham Forest at a rain-soaked Emirates Stadium. Arsenal were dominant throughout but only led through Saka's screamer in the first half at the break. Then, Partey, a half-time substitute, added an excellent strike of his own before Nwaneri, also off the bench, combined with Sterling to seal the win in style.

Ward-Prowse, fed by Murillo, inside the attacking half goes for goal about forty yards out. Predictably, the ball flies over the crossbar for an Arsenal goal-kick.
90+1'
Hudson-Odoi, looking dangerous again, tries to dribble inside, into the box. Partey, though, is in the right place to make a key defensive block for The Gunners.

OFFSIDE DENIES SILVA - Hudson-Odoi charges down the left wing, at speed. He then crosses across the box to Wood. On the right side, Wood plays the ball over to the arriving Silva, who scrambles the ball home at the back post. The flag is immediately raised, though.
