After that, Man Utd huffed and puffed, but rarely put the Palace defence under any significant pressure. As the game went on, Amorim got desperate, and decided to put more attacking players on without defensive cover. That allowed Palace to score a 2nd on the counter in the last minute of regular time, with Munoz selflessly setting up Mateta to score after being put through by Sarr. Palace: clinical.
