That's all we've got time for on Tribe, I'm afraid. Until next time, this is James Messenger saying goodbye!
Job done for Manchester United, who glide into Round 4 of the Carabao Cup with a convincing win over League One Barnsley at Old Trafford. Marcus Rashford, Alejandro Garnacho and Christian Eriksen starred with two goals each, and Antony also got in on the act thanks to a first-half penalty. It was a performance of style and substance, and one which sees Erik ten Hag collect his biggest win as United boss - and by some margin too! Far sterner tests await, of course, but this was a display which will surely boost the confidence of some of Ten Hag's forward options, many of whom found their way onto the scoresheet. Barnsley offered very little in the way of threat, and may well by disappointed by the meek manner of their exit from the competition. But from a United perspective, it's a case of a potential banana skin overcome in some style at the Theatre of Dreams.
Manchester United breeze into the next round!

A late free-kick decision goes against O'Keeffe, who lets his frustration boil over. He does enough to talk his way into a yellow card - the third of the night.

The full-time whistle can't come soon enough for Barnsley. They're almost carved open by some slick Manchester United passing, but Diallo can't reel the ball in and their latest move ends prematurely.

GOOD SAVE! Excellent goalkeeping from Slonina! The Barnsley goalkeeper has spent much of the night picking the ball out of his own net, but he comes up with some smart reflexes here! A forward diagonal is sent the way of Zirkzee, who does really well to hold off the challenge of his man down the left-hand side of the box. The Dutchman fires across the face of goal, and his fierce snapshot is well kept out by Barnsley's number one.
