Leicester will face Brentford next, while Arsenal take on West Ham at home. Thanks for tuning in to Tribe for this coverage. Don't go anywhere – there are plenty more Premier League matches coming up shortly. Until then, this is Sanil Karan signing off.
As the final whistle blew, it was a sense of relief for Arsenal, who had struggled to make their dominance count for much during the match. Nwaneri's dynamic performance and Merino's clinical finishing provided the late drama Arsenal needed to seal all three points, which was crucial for their pursuit of the Premier League title. Leicester can hold their heads high after a spirited effort, but they will be disappointed that they couldn’t take advantage of the opportunities they created. For Arsenal, it was a hard-fought win that showcased the importance of depth and versatility in the squad, with late substitutions and fresh legs providing the edge to break the deadlock.
Arsenal’s breakthrough was quickly followed by a second, with Nwaneri again involved in the build-up. This time, it was Trossard’s precision delivery from the left that found Merino at the far post, and the Spanish midfielder made no mistake, tapping home to double the lead and secure a vital three points for the Gunners. Leicester, despite playing well throughout the game and staying compact defensively, couldn’t quite find the spark to get back into it after Arsenal’s goals. The Foxes' best efforts came in the form of a few counter-attacks and set pieces, but they were unable to break down Arsenal’s defense, led by the ever-reliable Saliba and Gabriel.
It was a nervy affair at the King Power Stadium as Arsenal struggled to break down a resilient Leicester side for most of the match. Despite dominating possession, Arsenal lacked the cutting edge in attack, with their injury-hit lineup failing to create meaningful chances in the opening stages. Leicester’s defense held firm, frustrating the Gunners and keeping them at bay, while Wilfred Ndidi had the best chances for the Foxes, coming close on two occasions but failing to convert. Both teams played with intensity, but the lack of goals throughout the majority of the game suggested that the lack of options upfront for Arsenal could ultimately cost them. However, with just over ten minutes to go, it was Ethan Nwaneri who took matters into his own hands, delivering a superb performance that made all the difference. The 17-year-old forward hit the post with a shot earlier in the half but showed incredible composure in the final stages of the game. He was instrumental in the buildup to Arsenal's first goal, breaking the deadlock by providing the assist for Mikel Merino. Merino, who had come on as an emergency striker, latched onto Nwaneri’s cross and finished coolly to give Arsenal the crucial lead they had been desperately searching for.

El Khannouss spots Mavididi on the left and plays a well-timed pass to him. Mavididi cuts inside, trying to create space before lifting a cross into the box, aiming for a Leicester attacker. However, Saliba is alert and gets to the ball first, clearing it away from danger.
90+3'
Leicester win a corner on the left, and Mavididi steps up to take it, delivering a decent ball into the box. However, it's too central, and Raya is quick to react, claiming it with ease.

SHOT! Rice does well to drive down the left before cutting it back to Nwaneri, who’s waiting on the edge of the box. Without hesitation, Nwaneri goes for goal with a first-time shot, but it lacks the direction needed, and Hermansen is easily able to gather it.

WIDE! El Khannouss looks up and sends a floated ball into the box, looking for a Leicester head. Buonanotte rises to meet it, but his header is way off target, sailing well wide to the right. It's another missed opportunity for Leicester as they struggle to break down Arsenal’s defense.
