Thanks for joining me here on Tribe as Crystal Palace and Manchester City exchanged four goals between them in a thrilling draw at Selhurst Park this afternoon; I hope you’ve enjoyed our coverage; I’ve been Rory Morrow, and I look forward to seeing you again soon for another live text commentary!
Up Next - Palace are at Brighton in eight days’ time as they prepare for their annual derby encounter. City travel to Juventus in the Champions League on Wednesday night before returning to the Etihad Stadium to host United in a crunch Manchester derby, later that same Sunday.
Manchester City weren't as fluent in attack this afternoon as in the midweek win over Nottingham Forest. Too often, the final pass was lacking and so despite dominating possession, City didn't impose themselves on Palace's goal. They showed spirit again to twice come from behind but the goals they conceded were both preventable and continue to expose a defensive weakness, that is undermining their poor form of late. Lewis played well until getting himself sent off whilst Haaland buried his header emphatically. However, the headline for Man City from this game will be the unescapable feeling of two dropped points.
Crystal Palace were really good today. They set up to contain and counter: they did both excellently throughout the 90 minutes. Munoz, who scored in their last game here against Newcastle United, added another with an expertly taken strike early on and he coped admirably with the threat of Nunes. Hughes shone in midfield, gritty and constantly picking the right pass to emerge with two assists. Lacroix scored the second and generally stood up well to Haaland, alongside Guehi and Chalobah. That's another good result as their unbeaten run goes on.
THE SPOILS ARE SHARED AS CITY SLIP UP AGAIN - It ends even at Selhurst Park where Manchester City drop two points in their defence of the Premier League title! City were chasing the game from the fourth minute when Munoz put Palace in front early. They retaliated with Gundogan striking the post before Haaland headed in expertly for 1-1. 11 minutes after the break, Man City found themselves behind again when Lacroix was left all alone to head home. Lewis tucked away a lovely leveller before collecting two yellow cards in 14 minutes to derail City's attempt to win. It's an excellent point for Palace as The Champions fail to record successive league wins.

Hughes and Chalobah combine inside the attacking half to free Munoz down the right wing. His low ball in is put behind by Gvardiol for a corner. Devenny delivers from the left but Gundogan heads it away at the front post.
90+3'
Nketiah receives a late booking for desperately hacking down Grealish on the left of City's defensive half to prevent the visitors from breaking up-field.

SAVE - Grealish does really well to shimmy his way inside off the left and then release the rampaging Dias to his left. Dias outmuscles Munoz to barge his way into the box, get near the left-hand by-line and then he rolls the ball tamely straight at Henderson!
