Adarabioyo followed up with another superb strike from outside the box, finding the top corner to put the game out of Morecambe's reach. Chelsea continued to press, and Joao Felix made great impact, scoring twice in quick succession to seal the victory. Both goals were well-taken finishes, further cementing Chelsea's dominance. The Blues ultimately ran out comfortable winners, advancing to the next round of the competition with ease. Morecambe, despite their solid defensive performance in the first half, were unable to contain Chelsea’s attacking quality once the goals started flowing. It was a convincing win for Chelsea, and they will look to carry this momentum into their next challenge.

Chelsea were dominant throughout their FA Cup clash with League Two side Morecambe, but they faced difficulty breaking down the visitors in the opening period. Despite enjoying most of the possession, Chelsea were unable to create clear-cut chances, and it took a penalty to give them the first real chance to take the lead. Christopher Nkunku was awarded a penalty after a handball, but his effort was saved by Morecambe goalkeeper Harry Burgoyne, keeping the scores level. The breakthrough came just before the half-time whistle when Chelsea's Tosin Adarabioyo found the net in fortunate circumstances. His long-range shot deflected off a Morecambe defender and past Burgoyne, giving Chelsea a well-deserved but slightly lucky lead. While Morecambe had been resolute in defense, the deflection proved to be the turning point in the match, as Chelsea went into the break with a slender advantage.

OVER! Hope bursts forward again on the left, cutting inside to create space for a shot. However, he's blocked off the ball, and it falls to Macadam outside the box. Macadam takes a swing at it, but his shot flies high, sailing well over the bar.

SAVE! Lewis plays a perfectly weighted pass behind Gusto, sending Hope charging into the left side of the box. Hope takes the shot but lacks the power, and it’s a comfortable save for Jorgensen, who collects it easily.

OVER! Morecambe have a corner from the left, which is delivered into the six-yard box. Disasi rises to head it clear, but the ball falls to Hendrie on the edge of the box. He attempts to strike it first time, but his shot sails high and wide over the bar, missing the target by a considerable margin.

Adam Lewis and Tutonda link up well on the left, with Lewis taking the ball forward and attempting a cross into the box. However, Gusto is quick to react, blocking the delivery and sending it out of play.

George plays a pass to Sancho on the right, and the winger quickly looks up before lifting a cross towards the left side of the box. Stott is there to meet the delivery and heads it away, clearing the danger for Morecambe.

With the game firmly in Chelsea's control, Morecambe make two late changes, bringing on Hope and Taylor in place of Jones and Songo'o.
