That is all we have time for on Tribe as Chelsea proves they are a serious team to be messed with another fine victory. I have been Elliot Thompson and thank you for joining me. Stay with us on Tribe for the top-of-the-table clash between Liverpool and Manchester City. That kicks off fin 20 minutes.
It is starting to become really concerning for Aston Villa fans now as it is now eight games on the bounce they've watched their side not win. It was a waste of time for the away fans to enter the ground today as their side showed basically nothing. Watkins had a big chance in the first half which he wasted with a weak shot. If he had squared it to Rogers for a tap-in the game may have been different. Villa were a good three or four levels off Chelsea today who just ran things from the off. Unai Emery has some serious thinking to do with his side now languishing in 12th place. He made some early changes in the second half but nothing he did paid off. The lack of service Watkins had was really poor so a lot of the Villa players need to step up very soon Next up for them is a midweek game at home against Brentford, who struggle to pick points up away from their ground.
CHELSEA GO THIRD WITH ROUTINE WIN! Enzo Maresca is a happy man and probably also quite surprised about how easy that 90 minutes was as Aston Villa were so poor His side stromed into an early lead thanks to Jackson squeezing the ball under Martinez on his left foot. The second came from Fernandes who was found by Palmer on the edge of the area. Fernandez took one touch and finished into the bottom right corner. Chelsea were in full control at that point going into the break. The second half felt like a training exercise for Chelsea as they just kept the ball throughout the 45 minutes. They did get their third thanks to a wonderful curling strike from Palmer into the top left corner. That win means Chelsea are level on points with Arsenal but third due to alphabetical order, due to every other stat being identical. Next up for Maresca's men is an away game against bottom-of-the-table Southampton.

SHOT! Fernandez in midfield plays the ball into the feet of Nkuku. He takes one touch on the edge of the area and bends a shot at goal. On his right foot, he curls it just wide of the right post. Olsen was at full stretch.

These last few minutes are just keep ball now for Chelsea as Caicedo finds Neto on the left wing. He passes backwards to Cucurella who carries it infield. It comes to Fernandez who finds Felix on the right side. He is tackled by Digne but wins a throw.

CHANCE! Tielemans clips a straight ball into the box from a free-kick. Duran stretches to direct it at goal but Sanche runs out to smother the effort. Sanchez gets something on it but the ball comes over to McGinn. He can only make sure Villa win a corner.

Felix is too eager with his press on Tielemans as he brings him down in the Villa box with a late slide tackle. So the referee shows him a yellow card.
