That's it for this match! But don’t go anywhere as the big London derby between Spurs and Chelsea is about to kick off shortly. Until next time, this is Sanil Karan signing off, catch you soon!
Leicester City came out strong after the break but struggled to find a way through Brighton’s defense, with Stephy Mavididi setting up Jamie Vardy for their best chance which he headed over. Any hopes of salvaging a result seemed dashed when Yankuba Minteh's brilliant dribbling and finish put Brighton two goals ahead. However, a dramatic late comeback saw Vardy get a goal and he was involved again, squaring for Bobby De Cordova-Reid to claim a sensational equalizer for Leicester. The draw prevented Brighton from securing their first-ever win at the King Power Stadium, leaving both teams with plenty to ponder after a thrilling end to the match.
In a game initially lacking quality, both teams struggled to find their rhythm in the opening stages. Brighton appeared the more likely side to break the deadlock, coming close with a header from Lewis Dunk and a sensational long-range effort from Pervis Estupinan that was kept out by a stunning save from Mads Hermansen. The Seagulls had further chances, including Evan Ferguson’s missed opportunity to set up Kaoru Mitoma with a clear goal-scoring chance. However, Leicester failed to capitalize on these warnings, and it was Brighton who eventually took the lead through Tariq Lamptey’s brilliant strike from the edge of the box. The Foxes responded well, with only a remarkable save from Bart Verbruggen denying James Justin an equalizer just before the break.

van Hecke concedes a foul on Soumare just outside the Brighton box, giving Leicester a late opportunity to snatch a win from nothing. Mavididi takes the free kick but his effort strikes the wall and that will be that.

SHOT! Rutter switches the play from the right to the left, where Estupinan heads the ball down. Welbeck then hits it first-time from the edge of the box, but it's straight at Hermansen who is quick to gather it comfortably.
90+3'
Soumare tries to play a through ball for Vardy, looking to get him in behind the defensive line, but it's a poor pass. Van Hecke is alert to the danger, stepping up to intercept and head the ball clear before Vardy can latch onto it.
90+1'
LEICESTER CITY ARE BACK LEVEL LATE ON! Just moments after coming on, Igor Julio is dispossessed in midfield, allowing the ball to be threaded through to Vardy inside the left of the box. Vardy shows great composure, squaring the ball across for De Cordova-Reid, who taps it into the empty net to level the score. Van Nistelrooy’s experience with Fergie Time during his days at Manchester United seems to have played a crucial role here.
